Algorithms would identify them quickly.

Fine them into bankruptcy.

Make it too expensive to use them.

If there's no work they won't come.

This glaring void in consistency is proof their donors like the cheap labor and scapegoats for wage stagnation.

If they actually dealt with the problem we would see it's greedy donors and not illegals that are responsible.

47% of farm workers are undocumented workers. They’re the reason why you have cheap and plentiful food. Say thank you to them.

My wife works on a farm in Southern California....

Regularly they are checked for the proper documentation of workers.

The problem is the forged documents have gotten to the point where it is harder and harder to discern what is or isn't correct.

The early systems were fatally flawed. Probably because republican donors like cheap labor and scapegoats for stagnant wages.

There is no excuse now. Hell, there hasn't been an excuse for multiple people using the same SSN at the same time for a couple of decades. Nor the IRS failing to catch employers because they make more than they can justify if they were using illegal labor.

The fact that neither side is interested in going after employers puts the lie to the whole issue.
 
The bottom line here on this thread is the commie/socialist sure get get their underlovelies in a wad when someone points out what liberal/socialist politics has done to a once beautiful state. I know what a nice place Calif was 60 years ago when I spent 3 years there in the Navy at Moffett Field.

Now look what liberal politicians have done to the state. People are crapping in the streets of San Francisco. When I was there 60 years ago, you pretty much had to dress up to go out at night to eat and go to a movie.

So Newsom says they have to show proof of employment to get the cash. That means the people that hired them will have to admit on paper they broke the law. What might the Feds do with that information?

The far left ideologue doesn't permit logic to prevail. To hell with the CA. taxpayer! An irresponsible Newsom and his ilk think it's just to defy local and federal immigration law. Instead, that money should be going for other causes like "food banks, education, and local governments suffering revenue shortfalls amid the pandemic."

Trump has a history of hiring undocumented immigrants...the Republicans don't care what the BUSINESSES do...they only care about demonizing those folks working to feed their families.

They are giving illegals 75 million dollars (yes I know it is taxpayer funded) while claiming they need a bailout from the federal government. That is money the federal government shouldn't have to reimburse them for. That amount is on them. I also find it funny that the left always try to claim these illegals are working for rich Republicans and yet here we have the state requiring these illegals to prove they lost their job due to the virus and yet they are not only not going to do anything about this illegal hiring arrangement at all but they are going to give them $500 a piece to boot. And yet we still hear the narrative that it is really just the rich Republicans who are responsible for illegals and Democrats are not for open borders.

again a lot of these high cost programs in NY'S case people from other states are yelling about are programs that were started under a Republican Governor
and I have to ask why not help these states, they are the ones that are paying more into the Fed gov. per person and not getting near back from the Fed gov. per person what they pay in NY gets back 83 cents back for every dollar they send in and states like VA get back 2 dollars for every dollar they send in ( and NY has more people on SS, welfare, food stamps and many other fed. programs then VA has )
four of the high taxed states all in the NE ( Conn, NJ, NY , and Mass pay in 17% of the total Fed revenue and only have 11.85 of the total pop. )
what would happen if they go bankrupt, had to shut a lot of things , laid people off and didn't pay as much in to the fed as they do now, where would states like KY VA. and other red states get all the money they get back from the Fed.Gov. now ( something equal to about 36% of their total states budget for KY )
yes the CV thing has cost the high taxed states to loose sales tax , and income tax revenues monies they would have taken in in normal times if it wasn't because of the CV
