Why was General Flynn targeted for destruction?

All is discoverable with a dictionary and perhaps a book on grammar.

Your advice has failed again, there is no listing of social-ism in the dictionary.
This will be my last reply as you continue to avoid questions. Maybe someone else will enjoy playing this game of going in circles.

Why was General Flynn targeted for destruction?

Why were so many high federal officials willing to commit felonies in order to professionally and personally ruin him?

For many, many reasons. Because he was honest and courageous and because like Trump he was a threat to corrupt hacks and to the corrupt bureaucracy.

Because he was going to reveal the truth about Obama's foreign policy incompetence.

Because he was a threat to corrupt Beltway Gravy Train.

Wasn't about Flynn, it was about Trump. Flynn was a cog in the wheel to get to Trump.

Where are you from? I have to contend with right wingers and sometimes have to gainsay their contention.

Social is the base word. Any other simple questions that give the perception of disingenuity?

Why do you believe what you do concerning the first sentence? I could say, right wingers love to tell stories and no arguments they can defend.

And, capitalism "died" in 1929 and socialism has been bailing out Capitalism every since.

No, it doesn't make me believe China is innocent; it makes me think the right wing is all talk about Capitalism. Better solutions at lower cost is what y'all are supposed to coming up with, not the socialism of the coercive use of force of the Union.

For my part, I FEEL that the shut down was a ridiculous over reach. We are approaching day 90 of the 15 days to flatten the curve.

Capitalism is an economic system, not a societal system. Since Capitalism exists within a society, it should function in a role that contributes to the betterment of society.

Think of a household with a one person working outside the home and another managing the affairs of the family with several children running around within it.

The wage earner has a primary function as does the home maker. Their efforts include, but are not limited to, their primary function. The children contribute to the whole as directed and required.

As with the family unit, the society depends on the economy (the wage earner) and the occupation of the wage earner (the overall economy in a society) is fundamental to the support of the society.

However, like church and state, it's better if they can be held separate from each other. There will occasionally be overlaps, but that is just as it is. Sometimes the wage earner works from home.

If our government has demonstrated nothing else, it has demonstrated that it cannot operate anything effectively and efficiently.

The reason for the ineffectiveness in running anything is that the self interest of the PEOPLE in government is not in the successful operation of anything they operate. Let that sink in...

Our media like to make simple stories for simple comprehension. The pictures they paint are almost always binary. Life is not binary.

Restricting yourself into a prison of two ideas will restrict you. Rise above the media narratives and see the bigger picture beyond the prison in which they ask you to think.

I agree to disagree. This virus is too contagious. We are approaching day ninety to flatten a fifteen day curve, yet our healthcare sector is still stressed with "normal volatility and no clear upward trends."

It is the inefficiency of our Government to better ensure equality and equal protection of the laws that leads to most of our problems, in my opinion. Most of our problems as a Republic would have never happened with something as simple as equality and equal protection of the laws.

The inefficiency of our government is not limited to providing equal protection under (and before) the law.

Our government is ridiculously inefficient in virtually EVERYTHING they do.

The occasional well targeted outcomes they happen across are less intentional than accidental by products of the designed theft they are intended to allow.

Given the ridiculously persistent failures by government, WHY are they continuing to get the chances to underperform?

Let's look at one of the people that seeks to lead. Biden said some ridiculous idiocy like "...you ain't Black if...".

That's a problem.

The real call to action should be "...you ain't AMERICAN if...".

The comment by Biden demonstrates the segmentation of the society and the benefit sought by our politicians rising from the pain inflicted by that segmenting division.

Injustices are the by products of, not the cause of, societal divisions. There is no conflict when everyone is working toward one goal.

I agree to disagree in modern times. In my opinion, we would have much fewer problems with equal protection of the laws for unemployment compensation in our at-will employment States. The goals is solve simple poverty and for the deleterious effects of Capitalism's natural rate of unemployment. Capital must circulate under Capitalism. We should not need our extra-Constitutional and alleged wars on the abstractions of crime, drugs, poverty, and terror. Economics must account for everything or it is an externality capitalism. The right wing errs in "blaming the Poor" for their poverty.

In what way does anyone blame anyone for anything? By what method? I was once poor. VERY poor. Also indolent and rudderless. I got a job and then a better one and so on. That's life in the USA.

What was my "unique" talent? I showed up. I showed up every day and I asked my boss how I could better contribute to making him successful.

My efforts usually were appreciated with increased responsibility and compensation. THAT is capitalism.

Your view of Capitalism is corrupted and polluted by some other notions unrelated to Capitalism.

Societal issues are societal issues. Economic issues are economic issues. Some people are more able to create Capital than are others.

By the same token, some are more able to instruct effectively, inspire effectively, cook food, drive cars, play sports and so on. We all have talents and gifts.

Outside of talents and gifts is the ability to direct ones's efforts- that is- to simply show up.

In our society, we ALL have the chance to pursue happiness. "Happiness" is not defined. The method of pursuit is not defined. All that is promised the right to "pursue happiness".

Actually reaching it is not a right. In many cases, the people conducting their own happiness pursuit are ill advised or internally unguided. That's a problem, but it's their problem. It's their right.

Where have you been? The right wing prefers to criminalize being Poor than faithfully execute our own supreme law of the land.

Shhhhh. You know facts and reality are like Kryptonite to most of the Trump base.

What of the following is not factual?

Amuse us with your knowledge and intelligence.

Declassified Flynn Transcripts Contradict Key Mueller Claims Against Flynn
Newly released declassified transcripts of call transcripts and summaries between Flynn and Kislyak contradict key claims made against Flynn by former Special Counsel Robert Mueller.
.....According to the charging documents from Mueller, Flynn allegedly falsely claimed to Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI) agents that he did not ask Kislyak to “refrain from escalating” in response to U.S. expulsion of Russian diplomats and falsely claimed that he did not ask Kislyak to help defeat an anti-Israel resolution pending before the United Nations at the time. Mueller also claimed that Flynn lied when he said he didn’t remember Kislyak telling him that Russia would “moderate its response” to the expulsions.

The transcript of the December 29 conversation, which was cited by Mueller, does not include a request from Flynn that Russia “refrain from escalating” in response to U.S. expulsions of Russian diplomats. According to the transcript, Flynn asked Kislyak for Russia’s response to be “reciprocal” so that the U.S.–not Russia–would not be forced to escalate beyond the expulsions. The transcript makes clear that Flynn fully expected Russia to respond to the situation by expelling U.S. diplomats in response to the Obama administration’s move to expel nearly three dozen Russian diplomats from the U.S., and that his primary concern was preventing a situation where the U.S. would have to escalate tensions in response to Russia.

“Make it reciprocal,” Flynn reportedly said. “[D]on’t go any further than you have to. Because I don’t want us to get into something that has to escalate, on a, you know, on a tit for tat.”

....The transcripts show that while Kislyak obliquely raised the issue of financial sanctions against certain Russian intelligence officials, Flynn himself never discussed the financial sanctions against Russian individuals and entities levied by the Obama administration. Instead, Flynn focused on preventing U.S. “tit-for-tat” escalation following the Obama administration’s expulsion of Russian diplomats. Although Obama officials claimed via leaks to the press that Flynn, a decorated combat veteran and retired three-star Army general, was illegally operating as a secret Russian agent, the transcripts show that Flynn’s primary focus throughout his conversations with Kislyak was ensuring that Russia and the U.S. could work together to defeat Islamist terrorist and the growing influence of ISIS throughout the Middle East.

Obama officials never explained how working with international partners to defeat ISIS constituted a federal crime.

Don't you just hate it when a poster edits your words for no other reason than to change the meaning and then posts them as if they have not been changed?
