Why Joe Ain't A Good Idea - Biden voted for NAFTA in 1993 and the Iraq War in 2003.

Sanders already has a medical condition.

What the primaries have shown, along with recent interviews, is that black votes matter. If Biden had chosen not to run, perhaps Bernie could have gained some black support, but the socialist tag didn't sit well with southern blacks, who are more conservative than east and west coast Democrats.

Democrats need to heed the black community's requests. Sanders supporters should cede this opportunity for the party to address issues central to blacks, which is mostly economic, therefore in line with a Sanders economic approach.

Sanders being a social democrat is in most peoples best interest, unless you make more than $500K per annum and even those people who benefit because more people are spending money in bushiness, which would benefit the higher earners.

Voting for NAFTA was not a bad decision.

Pretty much everybody supported the Iraq War in 2003. The criticism stems from how President handled the situation.

How somebody voted 17 to 27 years ago, is irrelevant. People care about TODAY.

Biden also voted for the USA PATRIOT ACT. The 2003 Iraq invasion was built on a stack of lies that was obvious from the start. Saddam never had WMD. He was a paper tiger and for much of his reign he was the US's stooge in the middle east as a way to attack Iran after the 1979 revolution.

How could Trump create the "greatest economy in history" with "relentless unmitigated obstruction from the democrats?"

How can the economy be so great of people don't have any savings to survive a 4 week quarantine and multi billion dollar corporations were begging for bailouts after 2 weeks? The idea that Wall Street is an indicator for the greater economic health and stability of the majority has been shown over and over to be nonsense.

That's a valid economic stance, but not one that I'm informed to make. My point is, that's not where we're at. Blacks want something for their votes, just like Sanders supporters do. I have confidence Joe Biden will properly address both caucuses.

Agreed, but my point was that Trump couldn't create a successful economy if what the poster said were true; ie, "relentless unmitigated obstruction from the democrats?"

Trumpists contradict themselves often.

I can see multiple issues that would apple to African American majority, in justice reforms, civil rights, the workplace and economics.

Where have you been the last three and half years? How many times did we see Trump need to go around the loser democrats to achieve results for the American People....answer, too many. With the three amigos or three stooges....Pelosi, Nadler, and shifty Schiff....these three crack me up. Pelosi needs to retire, as she has lost it all together....Nadler, lol...who the heck wears their pants up to their titties?....Schiff and those insane eyeballs....jeesh and sadly this is a pretty good picture of the democratic party, lol.

When will the Democrats learn that Americans don’t want status quo centrism?

Say It Ain’t Joe: Why Anointing Biden for 2020 Is a Terrible Idea - In These Times

The Democrats lost about 1,000 seats in state legislatures over the course of the Obama years. In 2016, they lost the presidency to a cartoonishly racist and widely despised reality television personality. Something hasn’t been working for the brand. This appears lost on the sector of the party that hopes to woo voters in 2020 with the same old centrist agenda. This time, it’s dressed up in the down-home package of Joe Biden— “Middle-Class Joe,” as he calls himself.

At The Democratic Strategist (a website managed by Ed Kilgore, former vice president for policy at the corporate-oriented Democratic Leadership Council), a post argues that Biden’s March visit to Pennsylvania, in which he stumped for House Democratic candidate Conor Lamb, “amped up the buzz for Biden’s possible 2020 campaign, and provided Democrats with an eloquent, heartfelt rhetorical template for appealing to white working–class voters.”

“I think he should run,” said MSNBC’s Chris Matthews in November 2017. “The blue-collar roots are key. … [The Democrats have] lost the working-class whites … and they’ve got to get them back.”

I raise. Trump.

I've watched Trump get his dumb ass impeached. Where have you been?

Trump tax cuts. Good economy. That's all Trump had. After closing the government a record number of days like a little baby (what irony), he got something done. It's not the Democrats' fault Trump is a babbling idiot.

So what? I would have voted the same way on both of those votes as well..... NAFTA enthusiastically - I'm for free trade in whatever shape or form it comes in - competition is what keeps US industry at the top of it's game.... Iraq was a tough call, but in the final analysis, we either had to take Saddam at his word that he didn't have WMD's or we had to go in there and find out for ourselves. Even though it's easy to do with the benefit of hindsight, I don't blame President Bush for making the call he did.

Ha, ha....to call that an impeachment is a joke. It was a purely partisan political hitjob....zero republicans voted for it. This is precisely what the founders warned us against doing, using political partisanship to remove a president. Pelosi, the left, and MSM could not wait.....it was too funny, ushering them out like a parade and Pelosi's signing and passing out pens.....what a severe joke to the hilt. Truly disgusting lowlifes is what they are.

Go seek help for TDS....there is help out there for those of your ilk.

NAFTA is a Republican brain child.
Reagan wanted it really bad.
Bush 1 also tried really hard.
Gingrich was successful in getting Bill Clinton to sell out American workers.

But we made it through the global move, yes NAFTA only covered North America, but that was only one trade agreement.

And the USA was going quite well and leading this new global world economy. Until we started trade wars and pulling out of agreements we made in past.

Yeah, never mind Joe has no idea where he is or even who he is.

Glad you agree with President Trump. Welcome aboard!

We need a working majority in Congress; vote blue not red!

Well if he wins, enjoy your new tax plan!

Good luck with that. Trump's enthusiasm is higher than Joe the Rapist's and Joe the Rapist is shedding under 35 support to third parties and stay at home. Good to know there are at least some principled progressives left in the DNC.

Doesn't matter. Trump is losing educated white voters in droves. And Trump's huge 20 point lead among older voters over age 65 from the 2016 election has completely disappeared.

Trump is going to lose this election by at least 10 million votes. Could he still squeak out an electoral college victory? It's not impossible, unfortunately.

I don't think it's possible to lose by 10 million votes and win the EC. Mathematically, sure, but realistically it won't happen. If Trump is down by 10 million, he's history.

Has anyone else noticed that Joe's eyes are starting to go in different directions?

...like, "Which eye is he looking at me with?"

I think mathematicians have determined that Trump could win the electoral college with like only 30% of the popular vote. Yeah, it's very unlikely, but not impossible.

But this is a major reason why the electoral college needs to go.

American don't want Biden? He won the primaries, right? Seems that might indicate Americans DO want.

NO, it is the reason the EC has to stay.

LOL. FUnny you say it doesn't matter then acknowledge that it does matter as Trump could still win. May shock you but there are under 35 voters in swing states and Trump has consistently overperformed his polling while democrats underperform in a great many states. Biden = #4MoreYears
