The gestalt of the GOP is that they win or lose based largely on the perception of the democrats---not because they are judged on their own merits. The democrats have salted their own fields with a lot of swing voters.

This is not sexy stuff, but this is the MAIN REASON why this will not end any time soon. Until we start testing every single American, this will not end until there is a vaccine. And a vaccine could take as long as 3 - 4 years.

So nearly 1,000 people didn't die in NYC today? Hospitals in NYC have not exceeded max capacity with sick people?

Or do you have a different definition of a hoax?

And to be honest, you are being extremely disrespectful to the 16,000 Americans who have died from COVID-19 in the past month.

It is going to come down to the economy and the number of body bags, by November we will know, otherwise all bets are off. Going to be a very interesting couple of months, this could all work in trump's favor or it could spell the end of his Job.

It could work in Trump's favor if he listens to Dr. Fauci. If Trump tries to re-open the economy on May 1st and tells everyone "it's safe to go out again", then his COVID-19 approval will be 30% by the end of May. It may be 30% anyway if his folks don't get their act together dispersing the $2 trillion quickly.

COVID-19 will start to penetrate the Fox Noise bubble when 70 year old red state Republican dumb asses start to die in large numbers in populated red states like Missouri and Georgia. Trump's propaganda will lose to COVID-19 every time.
