The numbers you are using are not accurate, they have not been testing nearly enough. Hang onto your hate because once the tests roll out the numbers all over the country will skyrocket.

Ah, but it did not need to reach this scale if Trump had done as he should have right from the start when he learned about it in Deceomber.And he had taken it seriously to begin with and start to react as he should have, it would not have reached this scale. That is the problem with Trumpsters, they tend to forget anything Trump did wrong and now say look he is doing "better". If he was truly a good leader he would have shut the country down himself and taken the lead in getting PPE and the equpiment necessary to fight this outbreak. Instead, worried he might get some blame, so he is hiding behind the governors who should be looking to Trump for leadership. Everyone worried about how he would handle a real crisis and now we know, not well at all.

So you think it would have not gone better if the Trump administration had taken steps immediately when the found out how deadly the virus was back in December? You really think that things would have been this bad this long if steps had been taken earlier? And you think that things would not be going better now if we had some leadership at the top? YOu do not think that if even late if trump had admitted the problem was serious and Fox News had not told people it was just the Dems trying to hurt his election chances. And that if he had told people how serious it was that many of the people that continued to run around saying it was all a hoax might have been more careful. You really believe all of that? If you still believe all of that you can call yourself what you want, but you are acting like a trumpster.

Not only that, but if you take everyone who has COVID-19 and everyone who has died from COVID-19 out of the picture then the US is doing an absolutely fantastic job as being the only country in which NO ONE has died from (or even caught) COVID-19.

I would think that having an infection rate that is 40.37% that of the US and having a death rate that is 24.14% that of the US and having a mortality rate that is 62.94% that of the US might qualify as "doing better".

On the other hand, I do agree that no other President of the United States of America has done a better job of dealing with an outbreak of COVID-19.

There are scores of countries around the world currently experiencing lower death rates than the U.S. so you'll need to be a little more specific with your metric.

Again, you have to look at this from a STATE-STATE LEVEL, not a national level. Almost half of these deaths are coming from New York. Are you going to hold accountable the governor of New York? The Mayor? Andrew Cuomo seems more concerned going on CNN talking to his brother or wearing nipple rings.

Washington state, for example, has seen a curve. They used to be #1 in COVID-19 cases, now they have dropped to #10. California and Texas are bigger states than New York yet haven't gone past $1k deaths.

I think President Trump has done a great job given the circumstances.

the reason NY is being hit so hard is the idiot politicians of that state who not only encouraged, but outright DEMANDED that people continue to gather at public functions early on. There are your screwups and anyone with a brain and not lying knows this.

You have to remember that, if the other country has a smaller population than the US does, then the other country is NOT "experiencing an outbreak of this scale".

Only China and India have populations larger than the USA, so that means that the only countries that could possibly be "experiencing an outbreak of this scale" would be China and India. India has only reported around 5,000 cases, so that means that India is NOT "experiencing an outbreak of this scale". China, although only reporting around 81,000 cases isn't even close to the 337,000 in the US, so that means that China is NOT "experiencing an outbreak of this scale".

Therefore, since there are NO OTHER COUNTRIES that are "experiencing an outbreak of this scale" that means that NO OTHER COUNTRY is doing a better job of coping with "an outbreak of this scale", and that means that Mr. Trump is - obviously - out performing EVERY OTHER LEADER and the US is - obviously - out performing EVERY OTHER COUNTRY.

Luckily for the DOLTs the worldometer website breaks down the epidemic by deaths-per-million inhabitants. It provides a number that allows comparisons between countries of different sized populations. Obviously they don't avail themselves of this useful information or they would need a talking point change.
