Global healthcare workers (technically, it could be 'the virus', since they've already set the precedent of non-persons with 'the computer' and it's really the virus that had the impact, but I like healthcare workers).

I've said before that when this is over a monument is going to be built to the doctors and nurses in the pandemic.

Definitely a no-brainer this year. They are the bravest, most selfless people on the planet. There is still hope for the human race with people like them around.

Covid-19 will be the "person of the year'.

But, they could go with health care providers, and one in particular. Fauci.

And if he is person of the year, it will really piss off Trump.

I hope they make him person of the year, he deserves it.
 
Honorable mention should go to grocery store workers. Unsung heroes.

they are still out there working under very dangerous conditions.
 
If the medical workers weren't stealing all the masks causing a shortage I would agree they should be 'Time's Person of the Year.' ;)

This is a war, make no mistake. It is a shame that many of our elected leaders have left the health care troops on the front line so badly prepared in equipment.
