Here is something to think about, especially in Nov. President Trump donated part of his pay to fight the china virus. Pelosi and her goons want a pay raise.

Trump has spent more money on the government dime and gained more money personally in office than he has given away. You were duped.

Congress just donated another $2.2T - can Trump top that? ;)

Nice try to derail this thread. We are talking the present pay President Trump gets for being President, and the pay raise Pelosi and AOC want right now. Disgusting on the part of Pelosi when you consider the china virus has put millions out of work with no pay at all!!!!!!

Isn't Trump already donating his pay to charity? I wonder what charity he's going to stiff so his syncophants can say that he donated to the coronavirus effort.

So let me get this straight. Trump forgoes the presidential pay or sends it charity. However, he has spent more govenrment money on personal golfing trips, etc and his resorts have gained more money but what is really important to YOU is he hasn't asked for a raise. :lamo

Why should he has for a raise on $400,000 when he spends millions for golfing and trips? Yes, you were duped. :lamo

That is taxpayer money. It sure the hell is not Pelosi's money.

And Trump signed it. Funny how you guys always laid the debt on Obama's feet, but not Trumps. Hypocrites much? :lamo

There is NO legal way to donate directed funds to the Treasury... None... It's BS.. a gimmick

All donated funds go into this account:

Bureau of the Fiscal Service - Public

As if he had any choice in the matter.

Aren't you the one telling us we all have a choice? I recall you saying you would vote independent even though a Republican or Democrat will win. So then you have no choice, you need to vote Democrat or Republican right? No, Trump could have vetoed it and let congress override him if they choose.

Funny how you always claim personal responsibility, until it is Trump and then "he doesn't have a choice". :lamo

What is Trump's POTUS salary when compared to the added security/travel costs of his golf outings?

The bill passed unanimously - that is an automatic veto override. Think before you drink - even if it's KoolAid.

Yep, so that means Trump didn't have to sign it. He did. So he upped the anty and passed their bill spending 2.2T. Maybe it's YOU who should stop drinking the Koolaid, especially when you spout bull**** on personal responsibility.

The Trump administration received its first formal notification of the outbreak of the coronavirus in China on Jan. 3. Within days, U.S. spy agencies were signaling the seriousness of the threat to Trump by including a warning about the coronavirus — the first of many — in the President’s Daily Brief. And yet, it took 70 days from that initial notification for Trump to treat the coronavirus not as a distant threat or harmless flu strain well under control, but as a lethal force that had outflanked America’s defenses and was poised to kill tens of thousands of citizens. That more-than-two-month stretch now stands as critical time that was squandered. Trump’s baseless assertions in those weeks, including his claim that it would all just “miraculously” go away, sowed significant public confusion and contradicted the urgent messages of public health experts.
.
.
.
The most consequential failure involved a breakdown in efforts to develop a diagnostic test that could be mass produced and distributed across the United States, enabling agencies to map early outbreaks of the disease, and impose quarantine measure to contain them. At one point, a Food and Drug Administration official tore into lab officials at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, telling them their lapses in protocol, including concerns that the lab did not meet the criteria for sterile conditions, were so serious that the FDA would “shut you down” if the CDC were a commercial, rather than government, entity. Other failures cascaded through the system. The administration often seemed weeks behind the curve in reacting to the viral spread, closing doors that were already contaminated. Protracted arguments between the White House and public health agencies over funding, combined with a meager existing stockpile of emergency supplies, left vast stretches of the country’s health-care system without protective gear until the outbreak had become a pandemic.

The vile pig bastard you worship got lots of people killed to try to protect re-election prospects. But then, I know that with Trumpists, the ugliness is the point.

He does not spend millions on golf trips.

Trump's net worth has gone way down since he became president, so he's a complete failure when it comes to corruption, unlike most Democrats.

Try again, it's not do to him being president. Here is some info for you:

Trump is not losing $3 billion to $5 billion. His income isn’t anywhere near $3 billion. And his net worth has not dropped by $3 billion since he went into politics—let alone $5 billion, which is more than he’s ever been worth. Forbes pegged Trump’s fortune at $4.5 billion in 2015. Today we estimate it to be $3.1 billion, a drop of $1.4 billion.

But only a sliver of that has to do with politics. Much of the decline is due to deeper reporting, which revealed, for example, that Trump had been lying about the size of his penthouse. Another big chunk is due to market forces. Trump owns commercial space at a time when e-commerce is decimating brick-and-mortar retail, shaving more than $100 million off his fortune. The presidency, we found, accounts for only about $200 million of the $1.4 billion drop in Trump’s net worth.

No, Trump Is Not Losing ‘3 To 5 Billion’ Dollars From Presidency

And of course that is all ESTIMATED due to the fact Trump won't release his tax returns.

I dont dispute that tax dollars are spent to provide him adequate security and amenities to govern remotely. The government chooses to spend that money. His golfing does not cost millions.

Even if we assume everything you say is true, the idea that Trump ran for the presidency in order to get richer is absurd.

You can believe what you want, the facts show he isn't suffering and he's been spending more on the government dime for vacations than Obama did in 8 years.
