During this virus crisis in America, our loyal non stop Truckers are working to keep our groceries on the table. Problem is, our restaurants across this country are drive through only.

Ever tried to wiggle an 18 wheeler in a drive through? Neither have they.

So most are running with convenience store and gas station foods to keep on the job. Cold week old burgers and Chicken wraps only go so far.

Issues they are dealing with currently.

1. No meals while on the road
2. Closing of Truck stops for bathrooms, food, and other amenities
3. Getting ticketed for parking because more Trucks are on the road and finding places to park is becoming problematic
4. Exposure to the virus as the average age is between 55 and 61
5. Closing of Restaurants across the country
6. No speedy Government response
7. 4 hour waits to load and unload

During this pandemic, my family has been hit like every other American. We are all out of work right now but we want to get involved and give something back.

I live in Monroe North Carolina about 30 miles from one of the largest South Eastern trucking hub located in Pageland SC. Its the Walmart Distribution Center.

160 State Rd S-13-682, Pageland, SC 29728

Most of these guys are 3rd party carriers.

We need help with funds to buy food, paper plates, Ice, Drinks, napkins, paper goods, and plastic ware. Nothing donated goes to us. Everything goes to the Truckers.

We have a truck, trailer, commercial smoker, two commercial tents, and a family of 5 willing to spend as much time providing hot meals to our Truckers as long as the funds can provide.

We will be providing videos daily of the Truckers giving their thanks to everyone for helping out.

If you can help, we appreciate your concern. If anyone has any ideas or needs to speak with me directly please don't hesitate to call.

Thank you all for any donations you may consider.

Ehh! The Liberals said "they'll figure it". The one thing this crisis is teaching us: just how useless Leftists are when the **** hits the fan.

Hopefully they will realize who is bringing the food for their grocery stores and pitch in.

I’ve always been aware of how critical truck drivers and railroad engineers are. Without them no one eats. Stay strong. I’m fortunate enough to still be employed, however if this thing goes on too long, who knows. I work in facilities/mailroom for the largest accounting firm in the world. They sent a directive that NO employees can be in ANY US offices except for what they call “business critical” personnel. All that means is a skeleton crew of the lowest people on the food chain on site to coordinate logistics for anything “business critical” that might come in. Tax documents, communications from law firms or state comptrollers etc. A lot of nonsense bull**** requests however. I had someone ask to go to their cube to fetch a stuffed Yoda toy and messenger it to a friend. As professionally as I could, I responded “no ****ing way”. Now they have us handling technology/ IT support requests. They won’t even allow IT personnel in the offices. Part of me thinks “ When this is all done, the tax partners, consultants and leadership are going to realize how essential we are and how we kept several components of the company afloat volunteering to risk our safety and the safety of our families being in the office every day” but then the other part of me thinks “no they just consider us expendable”. I appreciate 100% what you and the rest in your industry do every day.

If you can't donate (as we are all in this struggle together) please share the GoFundMe page with your friends on your social media. That would be a very big help.

Fundraiser by Fred Culbertson : Food For Our Truckers

Casey's Gas and General Stores, one every few exits all over the Midwest, makes fresh food daily. They also make Pizza, subs and other sandwiches to order.

Loves truck stops make fresh market sandwiches each AM on good bread with good fix'ns.

There are always options.

I spoke with the distribution manager at the Walmart Trucking hub today. They have brought out port-a-potties because they don't want the drivers in the building. I understand the need to distance but it isn't helping these guys. Eating out of gas stations and limited Truck stops for weeks on end pretty much sucks. And with the overload of trucks on the road and limited employees on the docks they have 4 hour wait times.

I don't know about other trucking hubs but the hub on 601 in South Carolina is miles away from any amenities. There are hundreds of trucks waiting to unload. One of the video's I posted is a trucker that sums it up pretty well. They aren't asking for any hand outs. They are asking for our government to step up and recognize the problems that are effecting their jobs and relax restrictions on them.

I figured since we are sitting here at home doing nothing, maybe we can cook some hot meals for the truckers at the hub for a week or so. Just to give something back.

Very few Casey's have truck parking. Love's and Pilot have stopped selling self serve food.

The options are getting slimmer, but your attitude illustrates what I was referring to.

Portable **** houses that don't get sanatized as needed. Real genius in that idea...lol

You would be doing a great service by preparing any meals. Plus it’ll help you not get into a rut because you’re keeping busy. I’m starting to hear rumors that some bars here in Chicago are going full “speakeasy” shuttered but “open for business” if you know the password so to speak.

Maybe next time the idiots will think twice before electing an incompetent moron president. It's not like the thinking people didn't warn them.

LOL I was someplace the other day that had a table with chairs set up in the parking lot with a plastic "No-touch box" to pass papers back and forth customers needed to sign. I was like ok but you touch them when you put them in and they touch them when they take them out to sign and put back into the box to slide across the table so where is the "no touch" part of that system again?

Cooking 9 Boston Butts right now but will do hamburgers, ribs, and chicken on location.

Can we have just one thread about helping others without the Trumpisms. Just one.

No. Deal with the failure and the cause.

Trump is not to blame for the virus. But he is to blame for dismantling response teams, for lying about the virus early on, for appointing ass-sucking incompetents and failing to deliver a coherent message (“Democratic hoax”). That’s what led to the lockdown and ****ed up food situation for truckers.

Deny it, ignore it, laugh at it—I don’t much care. Your problem, not mine.

Hey, life sucks and then yous live, cry me a river.....

Thanks for doing something.
The bathroom situation is getting rough. However truckers can get food delivered wherever they are.
This seems like a great thing your trying to do but I think truckers need to try to support all those local restaurants that are still open and doing delivery.

Just donated, hope it helps. You’re doing a good thing, brother.

Thank you sir. That is very much appreciated. We will post videos of the truckers thanking everyone. We couldn't do it with you.

I'm not sure if they can get deliveries in a parking lot. But we wanted to just do something. Anything to help.

They can and do, truckers that want to live a better quality of life don't generally eat the crap in truck stops. They make their own, get delivery, or uber to decent restaurants, when they have time.
But thank you for supporting and helping where you can its appreciated.
I just had to point out there are other options.
Now personally if I were near a hub I would make a bunch of masks, attach pens to neck cords and go drop it off to truckers.
I stocked my guys and gals up with hand sanitizer, wipes, gloves and masks back in january.

Thats a great idea. Thanks for the tip. Kind of learning as we go here.
