During this virus crisis in America, our loyal non stop Truckers are working to keep our groceries on the table. Problem is, our restaurants across this country are drive through only.
Ever tried to wiggle an 18 wheeler in a drive through? Neither have they.
So most are running with convenience store and gas station foods to keep on the job. Cold week old burgers and Chicken wraps only go so far.
Issues they are dealing with currently.
1. No meals while on the road
2. Closing of Truck stops for bathrooms, food, and other amenities
3. Getting ticketed for parking because more Trucks are on the road and finding places to park is becoming problematic
4. Exposure to the virus as the average age is between 55 and 61
5. Closing of Restaurants across the country
6. No speedy Government response
7. 4 hour waits to load and unload
During this pandemic, my family has been hit like every other American. We are all out of work right now but we want to get involved and give something back.
I live in Monroe North Carolina about 30 miles from one of the largest South Eastern trucking hub located in Pageland SC. Its the Walmart Distribution Center.
160 State Rd S-13-682, Pageland, SC 29728
Most of these guys are 3rd party carriers.
We need help with funds to buy food, paper plates, Ice, Drinks, napkins, paper goods, and plastic ware. Nothing donated goes to us. Everything goes to the Truckers.
We have a truck, trailer, commercial smoker, two commercial tents, and a family of 5 willing to spend as much time providing hot meals to our Truckers as long as the funds can provide.
We will be providing videos daily of the Truckers giving their thanks to everyone for helping out.
If you can help, we appreciate your concern. If anyone has any ideas or needs to speak with me directly please don't hesitate to call.
