With record unemployment claims of 6.6M last wk and 3.3M the week before, our 5.9M unemployed has gone up to 15.8M and the 3.6% unemployment rate now 9.6%. Trump has not and is not managing our country well in a time of crisis. He can't handle it. He just blames and attacks others while making nonsensical statements. Trump is damaging the country. He should resign.

See folks this post lacks complete logic and reason.

1. Most Governors and county officials across the US have issued stay at home orders.
this has decreased business across the US more so for those places that are small businesses or depend on foot traffic.

2. Like most leftist the OP doesn't realize that businesses require money to run. If i don't have money coming in i can't stay in business.
3. In situations like this is it better to furlough and unfortunately lay people off in order to keep my business running when this thing blows over.

Without people being able to leave their home and conduct business as usual unemployment is going to rise.
there is little that trump can do about this.

While the business can get temporary loans to keep people that money would only last so long and then have to be paid back and some
businesses might not be in the position to pay that money back.

These pretty much destroys the bloviating (use their own terms against them) that the OP is doing.
 
Wait until we see April's UI numbers next month.. They'll make March's number look good..

Fox/Rush/Sean will be crowing like hens when the unemployment rate stops rising and starts falling.



They don't care about the Republicans that were damaged financially or the ones that died. And they certainly will avoid the unknown health issues yet to be understood for those infected but living. They'll especially avoid how it could affect infected kids down the road.

Most of us knew Trump would destroy the country. His fans want to blame the virus. But, the bottom line is anyone can run a country when all is running well. It's when SHTF that real leadership is needed. And, Trump has none.
 
Trump claims personal success for absolutely no reason when the economy is doing well...I guess turnaround is fair play when the economy is doing poorly.

Based on the WHO, CDC and Federal Government guidelines. The ones being stupid here are the Governor's that have not followed the lead on the majority of other States and shut down.
The Governor of NY said it perfectly, what they have in their hands will what the rest of us will have in a couple of weeks.

What the **** are you talking about? The reason unemployment is so high is because various state governments have declared the hospitality industry, the travel industry, the amusement industry and huge chunks of the retail industry to be public health hazards. The states put everyone out of business by more or less making it illegal to operate most types of businesses. That isn't Trump's fault.

Rolling back trillions in obama's regulations
passing the new tax law
rolling back more of obama's draconian regulations.

the list goes on and on.
