Mostly it's just TDS, Trumpeteer Defense Syndrome. They have to defend absolutely everything his says regardless of what it is or how wrong it is.

It is hilarious but we both know that no matter what Trump does or did, the Trump haters are going to whine. And most of them pretend they had better answers at the time this epidemic first hit.

I think just starting by not playing off the reaction as some Democrat Hoax, not downplaying the potential problems of a pandemic, and working to unite the people instead of using this crisis as a platform and blaming Obama for everything would have gone a long, long way. Better answers at the time this epidemic first hit, right there.

Well it is like 9-11-there were thousands of reports and predictions, and one of them was that Jihadist scumbags would commandeer planes and fly them into highly populated targets. and the Bush haters then screamed his administration should have known that was the right prediction, not ones that predicted repeats of same the Lebanese Marine Barracks or the bombing of the USS Cole etc

No one said Trump should have predicted the crisis, nor was that the crux of what you were complaining about. You said when the crisis first hit. We knew this could be bad, we saw what was going on in China, we've known about it for some time. Yet Trump politicized it, particularly once it hit America. He tried to downplay it, he tried to blame Obama, he called the reaction a hoax, and he continues to spew misinformation in his briefings to this date. I gave you examples of how he could have been better at the beginning of the crisis. Other nations, like South Korea, took it seriously from the start and got ahead of the curve. Trump downplayed it, and we're playing catch up. I certainly hope we can catch up, but Trump's leadership during this crisis has been abysmal.

Especially where you can see any number of threads by these allegedly unreasonable haters criticizing Trump when he was still lying, denying, deflecting, and generally claiming everyone else was exaggerating the virus.

And where your knee-jerk response ever since you have voted for Trump has been that if someone is criticizing him, that means they must be a "Trump hater" with "TDS". Stupid and dishonest. Why has it not gotten through your skull that if your only defense of Trump is the same stupid and dishonest one no matter the situation, then you're only providing evidence that you are conscious of Trump's guilt?

Thats hackish and stupid. We lead the world in cases because we are testing more than anyone else. There isnt a chance in hell that China doesnt have ten times the cases and deaths that we do. Plus our population is equal to that of the UK, France, Germany, Italy and Spain combined. They have 31,000 deaths, we have 6000. So yes, we are doing better than they are.

We rarely agree on much, but I agree that China is definitely lying. Don't trust their numbers one bit.

We haven't quite hit the same place as they have. Italy and Spain have done a crap job of handling this, and I did specifically call them out. Germany hasn't been bad, though, and has the lowest mortality rate. We haven't been testing more than everyone else, which is likely why we haven't quite realized the number of cases we really have and why our "infection rate" seems relatively low compared to the rest.

Nope. Obama sat by while Crimea was invaded and talked about "red lines" in Syria and did nothing. Trump has sold lethal weapons to Ukraine, something Obama never did. And lest we forget the comment about "more flexibility" and the big, red plastic reset button. Trump also requested $17B for the European Defense Initiative while Obama only requested $5B. Trump also increased sanctions on Russia in the aftermath of the election meddling, meddling Obama did not stop.

How about China? Any interference they undertake certainly won't be in favor of Trump. What evidence is there that the Russians are "at it again" and what can they possibly do to affect the outcome? We've been hearing how they got Trump elected in 2016 yet the evidence for that is totally non-existent. Hillary got Trump elected, ironically enough.

Just saying crap doesn't make it true. We had two years of Mueller's Democrat bloodhounds turning over rocks and they didn't find a damn thing. If they had, Trump would have been impeached immediately based on their findings. That never happened. We've had years of talk and virtually no evidence at all. What we have had evidence of is the scheme to sink Trump that was fomented by the FBI and who knows what other parties. We have their communications. We know what they did with the fake dossier and the FISA court. This isn't up for debate. Yet, we still hear about some supposed nefarious Trump-Russia connection. It's like a bad dime novel at this point.

South Korea tested a0lmost everyone as a matter of course so they could contain it and it never had a chance to spread. Germany also did a much better job controlling COVID19 and their infection and death rates are a fraction of ours, which is still rising.
