People blaming Trump for the COVID-19 Crisis Reminds Me of Those Who Blame....

I did not read that Schumer even talked with Trump about coming up with money. But even if he did he should know that when it comes to spending money a whole lot more people need to get involved besides just lawmaker asking the president for favors.

The point at the time (Jan 26) of the national emergency was the availability of funds in case they were needed. Trump didn't want bad press and said no.

I thought you were suggesting Trump do something to slow the spread of the virus, but you say Schumer did not ask for Trump to close the borders, just make more money available for democrats to spend on their favorite projects? What is it with democrat obsessed focus on money while people are dying?

Nope, the ban was from all of China including Wuhan. And yes, Trump generally follows the recommendations of those in HHS, CDC, NAIAD etc. Sometimes to our detriment. And Schuemer still called it Trumps war on immigrants.

Fact: Every medical professional at HHS recommended the travel restriction from Wuhan. Trump did as told. Not a single congressperson or candidate called it racist. They knew it was at HHS recommendation.

Cult lies: Trump came up with the idea himself [Super Trump]. Professionals said don't do it [Rogue Trump]. Democrats called it racist [Victim Trump].

Uh, Reagan didn't come close to taking responsibility, either. Grenada? Death squads in El Salvador? Iran Contra, where his administration covered up the crimes and prevented himself being impeached and Bush indicted, with those convicted later pardoned by Bush? Like I said, I never heard that democrats or even+ a single democrat asked Trump to open the treasury just in case money was needed to fight the virus. But what if they did? Nobody can open the treasury (except the time Obama unilaterally rounded up $1.5 billion in cash to send to the lying Iranian terrorist thugs who had illegally and immorally seized control of Iran) without wide discussion and agreement between the executive and legislative branches of government.

I think Reagan was very selective in his decency - ask the victims of the death squads he supported and whitewashed - and his empathy - he seems to have first had empathy on AIDS from his friend Rock Hudson after years of a lack of it. Or for elders when he opposed Medicare as a hired gun. What people responded to was his ACT, PRETENDING to have decency and empathy. trump is not able to pretend.
