Our girl seems to be growing up, wisely breaking away from Justice Democrats and nuts like Sanders.

Of the half-dozen incumbent primary challengers Justice Democrats is backing this cycle, Ocasio-Cortez has endorsed just two. Neither was a particularly risky move: Both candidates — Jessica Cisneros in Texas and Marie Newman in Illinois — were taking on conservative Democrats who oppose abortion rights and later earned the support of several prominent national Democrats.

Ocasio-Cortez’s reluctance marks a break with the outsider tactics of the activist left, represented by groups like Justice Democrats...

Ocasio-Cortez’s endorsement moves are not a fluke but part of a larger change over the past several months. After her disruptive, burn-it-down early months in Congress, Ocasio-Cortez, who colleagues say is often conflict-averse in person, has increasingly been trying to work more within the system. She is building coalitions with fellow Democratic members and picking her fights more selectively.

Okay, I'll be the one to go there... I do not by the article at all.

If there is any sort of reset that AOC is doing it is because her approach applied to more moderate districts did not work, and all that means is she is making the wall paint color shift faster than Sanders will have to now that Biden looks to be on course for the 2020 nod. The wall color being different does not remove that both AOC and Sanders are still government authoritarian left wing radicals interested in a very similar brand of "democratic socialism." AOC and Sanders both have had bouts of going after Democrats who were more moderate and it did what was predictable, it made the movement come off as militant and emotionally driven absent deliverable solutions. On the floor of Congress, House and Senate, they both go after their own.

The socialist uprising made up of various target demographics has fallen apart.

It is very true that "The Democratic Party is the party of coalitions," but the issue is neither AOC or Sanders are interested in coalitions but rather litmus tests that play out in Congress as disjointed efforts and a plethora of grandstanding at the mic that does *nothing* to move the needle.

If AOC and Sanders were really paying attention to how various Leninist-Stalinist followers obtained power they would be looking to those coalitions to catapult themselves into higher positions of authority where they could eventually silence opposition. However the route they are going just alienates moderates, let alone those who are Independents down the line to Conservatives they will have to marginalize.

25 percent of Hillary supporters did not vote for Obama in 2008. Practically all of Bernie's progressive supporters held their nose and voted for Hillary. The ones who normally never vote for a Democrat were largely those 10%.

As for taking on Wall Street, one of the issues Sanders is most identified with on the campaign trail, former Democratic Rep. Barney Frank said Warren’s done much more to protect the landmark Dodd-Frank financial regulation law in the years since its passage.

“She has been more effective at blocking efforts to weaken the bill. [Sanders’]mind-set is that there’ll be a revolution,” said Frank, adding that he doesn’t remember Sanders being involved in any of the affordable housing work he did in the House. “He plants his flag and expects that someday everyone will see he was right.”

Sanders supporters stand in opposition to everything Trump represents. The vast majority of those not voting for Biden would rather stay home than lift a finger for Trump. I don't know what you're basing this prediction on.
