well it seems fair to me that if one percent of the population should bear responsibility for paying for 75% of the government services, they should have far more say in how those services are allocated than the freeloaders who suckle on the public teat while doing nothing to pay for the government

What, you think they don't? I'd say that more like 90% of the politicians represent them first and foremost. But, really, that sounds fair to you?

What version of "fair" leaves so many with so little and others with more than they could ever use? What fair system allows the poor to toil and die for the benefit of a few? I think you are obviously defining fairness in parallel with a pre-conceived might makes right mentality rather than any human rights perspective. It's so typical for conservative thinkers to value an entitlement to property over an obligation to people, why should you even be aware of why it's shameful?

Some times I'm shocked at the things you write. It's as if you are oblivious and apathetic to human need. It's no wonder our country has become a fascist **** hole under republican rule. Conservatives are too comfortable with cruelty, way too comfortable.

IF you want to do something about the rich politicians aiding their own, you first have to admit that this is not a party line issue and that politicians on both side of the aisle do it.

then You have to GET TOGETHER to VOTE OUT ANY politician who goes too far on the abuse scale, be they democrat or republican, and VOTE IN a moderate outsider who is NOT part of the DC establishment.

remember I said come together? you also have to give up some of the more radical elements of whichever your party is, in order to allow the other side to trust you.


otherwise this will go on and ruin will come to america eventually. guaranteed.

This is such textbook centrist fallacy. First, there's the false equivalency. Then, there's the total lack of recognition of the only political group who opposes the corruption, progressives. Then there's the call for a "centrist" - a group badly obligated to the wealthy, but who deny it - and "outsider" - that old myth. Every politician runs as an 'outisder' to some amount, because it's such a good propaganda claim.

Remember, trump won by claiming HE was an 'outsider' who would take the side of the American people against 'the establishment'. Bush ran against 'the establishment'. Obama did. Clinton did. Reagan did. Nixon did. On and on.

wow what a deflecting explanation. this is exactly why we can't have nice things and the politicians in this country can screw us at will. If you think your side is faultless in all this , I have some ocean front property in utah to sell you. sure there ARE good politicians in both parties, but we need more of them, and less of the hacks.

so long as the Dems are committed to radical ideas though, such as destroying the 2nd amendment and hampering the first, moderates like me have no where to go but to the republicans. fixing our political system takes flexibility and a willing to focus on JUST that effort.

meanwhile some republicans feed their corporate stooges and democrats load virus bills with million of dollars for a nice meeting place for elites.

all while the fed prints more money and inflates our economy from under our noses.

and of course let me add the globalists, merrily selling off our industries to China, so that we can't even control our essential supply chains, but a tyrannical dictatorship can... but at least THE GLOBALISTS are making their money.

the whole thing is a sad ****ing sight.

BUT at least YOUR DEM politicians are for letting EVERYONE in for the downfall party, thus driving down wages, and making more debt on programs we can't afford which they will eventually enforce by shredding the bill of rights, and declaring martial law thuis taking away our real 1st amendment rights.

and then WE will have become a communist dictatorship , just like China. and the moneymen will revel in it, "more slave labor for their factories and more products for their markets" they will say. and they won't have to hide it.

and THEN, ONLY THEN , america will have returned to its manufacturing roots. their promise will BE FULFILLED!
