Now Biden is refusing a second debate with Bernie

How to win Sanders' voters - show them, all voters, and Bernie the disrespect to refuse the debate and to listen to and respond to their views. Just take them for granted for their votes.

He knows Bernie voters have nowhere to go. Why risk an answer that opens the race to someone like Cuomo. There is no longer a contest between these two.

Why do we need anymore debates? We have had 11 debates. 11. The primaries are coming to their closure, with only two candidates left. Even if Sanders wins the rest of them, he'll still be short of the magic number and Biden will have enough to win on the first ballot.

There are a good 20% of Sanders voters that are simply going to petulant, and vote Green Party out of spite, no matter what concessions Biden makes. Clinton had to learn the hard way that trying to appease Bernie Bro's and placating Sanders ego only helps them further divide the party. They're going to try and rat**** him no matter what.

It's better for Biden to reach out to Obama voters that sat out previous elections.

We need to unite behind the presumptive nominee now. More debates will serve only to cause infighting within the Democratic party and provide fodder to the trumpanzees to nitpick.

Ten which were with many candidates each getting a few seconds. Now, we're down to two candidates, and we've had one debate which was very informative. The Democratic Party is badly split, and the different views should get more debate, including for Bernie supporters to get more information on why to vote for Biden.
 
Bernie needs to punish the DNC for their behavior and run as a third party.

It's tempting, but a mistake, and Bernie knows that. The things uniting Democrats against Republicans are stronger than the things dividing Democrats. Progressives need to both fight to defeat Republicans, and to become the majority of Democrats.

It is not a mistake for republicans and it really is not a mistake for Bernie if he wants to punish the DNC.

But don't worry though, serious Bernie supporters will punish the DNC for him.

That's precisely right. He's preparing his VP list now and consulting on how to bring out the Obama coalition. At this point, people just want the primaries to end and we can focus on staying healthy and safe.

The whine coming from some of Bernie's supporters taste like sour grapes. Fortunately, Bernie set the tone in earlier debates when he stated clearly he wanted the candidate with the most delegates at the convention to emerge as the nominee.

Viva the Anti-Trumper Movement! I respect Bernie and his supporters who accept the likelihood of Biden winning the nomination.

The Bernie supporters who refuse to accept this likelihood can do as they please. The phrase cutting off the nose to spite the face comes to mind.

You can either come to your senses or whine away and see what it gets you.
 
After learning about Biden's latest gaffe today that the COVID-19 cure “will make the problem worse, no matter what,” it's apparent that Biden has lost his last marble.

I truly feel sorry for this man.
Somebody with some sense needs to get him some help.
He's not prepared to debate anyone, let alone be the POTUS.

It’s obvious ‘these’ supporters of Sanders on DP aren’t concerned with how trump ****ed out the response to the virus. They should have listened to Sanders on Cable tonight.

Badly split? Based on what? Biden literally won states he never campaigned in or spent a dime on. Washington went for Biden for goodness sake. Sanders' campaign started off strong in Iowa, NH and Nevada, but has since then really gone flat.

Do you really believe Biden will not reach 1,991 delegates?

Biden will have plenty of time to convince Bernie Bros and moderates like me to pull the lever for him. He doesn't need to debate Sanders anymore.
