Now Biden is refusing a second debate with Bernie

To repeat, 10 of the 11 were many candidates getting a few seconds. That's not useful for the last two.

The last one without an audience was the best in my opinion.

You think they wouldn't?

Man, you sure have a Hard on for Cuomo?

The dude has lots of problems in his rats nest of NY to deal with instead of running for prez

i understand that Tweety cultists hope that those of us who support Sanders are going to get all mad and stay home so that Orangey McDumbass can continue to emit long McDonalds farts in the Oval Office for another four years. maybe younger supporters will say **** it, but many of them couldn't even be bothered to show up for the primary. basically, assuming we live through zombie apocalypse, most of us are going to be there to vote against the mango mistake and every downticket Republican using both middle fingers for efficiency.

Why do we need anymore debates? We have had 11 debates. 11. The primaries are coming to their closure, with only two candidates left. Even if Sanders wins the rest of them, he'll still be short of the magic number and Biden will have enough to win on the first ballot.

I have grown to hate Presidential debates.

I always regarded candidate debates as a waste of time.

No one really learns anything watching a television debate. The networks can’t resist making them flashy game show like presentations. They’re after the ratings.

The audience is looking for gotcha points. The substance is alway secondary to the attacks.

Sometimes. I watch the opening remarks. That’s about all.

I wish they would abolish them.

Presidential “debates” play to all the weaknesses in television as a source of news.

They are visual, without being substantive. They encourage viewers to make substantive decisions for often trivial reasons. (Why, for instance, did people turn away from Howard Dean for just an exclamation??? That’s the kind of thing I’m taking about).

How to win Sanders' voters - show them, all voters, and Bernie the disrespect to refuse the debate and to listen to and respond to their views. Just take them for granted for their votes.

The primaries are over. No need to debate anymore. Suck it up like a man and move on.

Biden is the chosen candidate of the people who run the Democratic party because they know America will not elect a socialist and if he was the candidate they would also lose the house.

They didn't count on the rapid demise of Biden due to dementia. If he debated Sanders right now, he would need a nurse attendant and not a good look.

You're right, he sure does, but he sure is handling it extremely professional. I'm impressed with his actions.

I'm thinking it could happen if something weird should happen to Biden.

He's a complete wreck.

He's a decaying shell of his former criminal self.

The Democrats see this, and embraced him not in spite, but because, of his fatal political flaws.

Understand this, and you understand the Democrats.

Don't listen to what they say about electability and the ghost of Obama gently haunting Biden.

They want Biden specifically because he is the WORST possible choice.

Understand this, and you understand Democrats
.

My husband said the same thing. GMTA!

Only one has included just them, instead of many others.

i just wanted to know how many debates have occurred that Biden and Bernie were involved in.

Well, be sure to count Bernie in 2016, and Biden in 2008 and 2012, for your irrelevant topic.

there is no reason for him to debate sanders again.
they are not going to say anything different than what they have already said before.

It is actually smart for biden not to debate sanders again because it saves him like 10 times over
from saying something stupid
.

I noticed yesterday that while he's being interviewed, he's forgotten his train of thought mid-sentence.

Democratic Party denial going on here for sure. During yesterday's virtual roundtable, he claimed, "When I left the United States Senate, I became a professor at the University of Pennsylvania," "And I've spent a lot of time -- and the University of Delaware has the Biden School as well, so I've spent a lot of time on campus with college students."

"Biden, quite notably, became vice president of the United States under President Obama when he left the Senate in 2009. It was, however, in 2017 when he received the title of "Benjamin Franklin Presidential Practice Professor" from the University of Pennsylvania."

Something weird IS happening to Biden. His stay at home campaign speech with a fake podium was a complete disaster of slurred words and him forgetting and holding up his hand for the teleprompter to be put up higher. He is running for PRESIDENT,not a county commissioner and he can't memorize a stupid speech of 5 minutes long? We want someone like him as president? Seriously?

I've now done so.

The plot thickens considerably...

Thank you for bringing this up.
Right? this isnt a 4 decades old allegation by someone that cant remember the day, date, month, or even year of an alleged incident that reportedly happened at a location she cant remember, a place she cant remember how she got there or how she got home from it even though she claims it would have been too far to walk to or from, involving an incident that has changed numerous times, with participants that has changed numerous times, including 6 people, none of whom can ever remember such a gathering, let alone a gathering where 1 of the 2 women present at the event just vanished and no one was even a little bit concerned about. No...this alleged event has specifics of time, day, date, details of the event, and corroborating witnesses.

So we'll see.

The man could have a serious stroke or die any day IMHO. If that happens, Bernie is a shoe in.

Yes. His decline is becoming more rapid by the day. Dementia is a serious condition and I don't think he can be propped up until November.

He had a stroke of luck that we can't go out into the cities because his crowd size in his living room is bigger than he would get otherwise.

He is?

Why do ya think he was/NY so un prepared for with what is going on?

Especially knowing NYC is our nations largest city?

Something weird IS happening to Biden.

Yes, something weird is happen to him. I'm talking weird - weird. Such as the DNC realizing that they need to do something soon as Joe is starting to show major signs that he is slipping. Signs are there already but are being covered up. By chance, did you see the video of him staring straight ahead after his Victory speech in the last primary? After about 5-8 seconds Jill walked up and gave him a hug to break his stare.

What's Up Joe? Biden Finishes Speech, Stares Ahead Until Wife Jill Comes to the Rescue

A very strange event for him indeed.

I saw that in my father in-law many times before he finally just didn't know who my mother in-law was. He was only 80 and as sharp as a pin until the it hit, and within 6 months was really bad. What a ugly disease.

I do... his presents at the news conference is handled well.

The stress of the campaign is probably escalating his dementia.
