Anyone feeling let down or disappointed?

Well, it's been predicted for decades. And there are plans at every govt level and you wouldnt like to hear most of them.

Few things have kept my opinion of government efficiency and ability to take on large, complex tasks well lower than participating in some of its strategic planning.

Ya'll know that scene in Chernobyl where government officials agree that the warnings of What Had Happened must be wrong, because "That Would Be Really, Really Bad, So We're Sure It Won't Happen."? It ain't just communist governments who make decisions that way. Government planning looks like a mixture of that and the Underpants Gnomes.

that was a weak heritage argument
pointing at ELECTIVE surgery cancellations
ELECTIVE surgery will not be available under the proposed single payer system
in short, the heritage argument compared apples to oranges and gave the conservatives a syrupy fruit salad to eat

Nah, it was a STRONG argument against gubmint controlling the health care of 327 million Americans.

I'll admit, I'm not sure what the upside is supposed to be for the argument "But, you see, fortunately, under a single payer model, there will be less healthcare available, and more people will be about to live in pain! Hooray!!!"

With the leftwing pro one payer zealots, it's all about having control over others, 'cause ya know, dammit,... they know what's best for us. ;)

I think you have a point. We only have so much healthcare and most of it goes to our middle class. The real problem conservatives have is that it'll make healthcare available to our poor. And everyone knows what conservative think about the poor and how much they hate giving them, "free stuff"...

So that's how you feel about the United States, which is fine. How do you feel about Canada?

After this is all over.... My kids and I will be heading to a yarn store to get pick out the perfect colored yarn to keep a promise I made before this happened to crochet Baby Yoda’s for them.

Sorry your so brainwashed you can't open your eyes to see what's going on.
My mother always said hard head = soft ass.
I think until something knocks on your door you will continue to blame someone else until it's to late.

THIS THREAD IS NOT ABOUT TRUMP.

I am feeling disappointed and let down. I've always believed America was the best at everything if we wanted to be. I always thought we could and would overcome anything and everything. Politics aside I've agreed and disagreed with different things but never have I felt we were this weak. I'm not even so worried about this virus. I'm more worried about just how weak our supply chain, healthcare system, financial system seems to be.
I mean why in the world are we only testing those with symptoms?
Why are hospitals running out of ppe?
Are our systems so weak we can't take care of our own?

I'm sorry, didn't some American's want to bloat the rolls of the insured, while reducing costs and consolidating hospitals so as to reduce costs? … AKA Obamacare?

So NOW you wonder why the system is so easily overtaxed, and needs even more expenditures to function?

LOL...

Yeah.... No.

Honestly, if you think that, I would suggest you wait a long time before you start a scentence or argument with "conservatives think" or "the problem conservatives have", and maybe do some reading in the meantime.

If I can make a recommendation, suggest you could start here.

Yeah I can look in the mirror years down the road and know I tried to help those that need help.
I can say I started a thread about disappointment in our systems as a country. You on the other hand came in here spewing and blaming, talking politics when I tried to talk about our country as a whole.
Your the problem everything is Red vs Blue because that's what you need to believe.

No need to respond because I shouldn't have let your vile hatred spewing drag me into the hole with you. But I'm sure you will respond, you need an enemy, I won't be it.
Good luck.

Another one...can't just talk about what's going on today with our systems, has to point a finger and blame someone.
"Bloat the rolls" your fellow Americans are bloat....sad.

To be fair, they probably honestly think they do, and many are willing to cede them control because they honestly (foolishly, I think, but honestly) think the poor will be helped by increasing the power of government over their healthcare.

I feel like this is something we could say to something like 80% of voters :(.

We are going to be fine, America hasn't had any difficulties in decades

An actual Baby Yoda?

Is there a pattern for this?

As a result, patients aren't always able to see their family MD, but are stuck seeing their assistants, PA(s) instead.

Yours is the quintessential, ignorant stereotype for conservatives.
