Trump apologists want to say there's nothing he could have done differently and they claim the country would be screwed no matter who was in office, but to me, this is like the Ice Berg that sunk the Titanic. Sure the Iceberg would have been there no matter what, and the captain and engineers didn't put it there, but their hubris and arrogance are what made the Titanic such a tragedy. They boasted about how the ship was unsinkable. They brazenly sailed it into dark foggy ice infested waters, and they didn't bother to bring the requisite number of lifeboats.

Any moron could have taken over the phenomenal economy left to him by President Obama and done okay. You can bull**** your way through life and seem competent when everything is going your way, but this is a real crisis and you can't bull**** your way through a crisis. You have to actually know what you're doing. You have to actually have a plan.

Trump and his supporters are like Drunk Drivers who think they're invincible because they managed to make it home safe the first 30 times they drove when they shouldn't have. It's that 31st time when a deer jumps out in front of your car that the reality of you're arrogance finally steps in. November can't come soon enough.

Trump has kept the number of people INFECTED below the number of people Obama allowed to DIE.
 
This crisis shines a light on two things for me.

- Trump is indeed a phony, as we all knew. However *even Trump* apparently has a breaking point, where we see him actually trying now in his press briefings. Terrible at it, and as a leader, but at least aligned with science/health of the nation. That's the first time I remember seeing this.

- Trump supporters, are the real problem, Trump is just a symptom. Trump supporters on this forum are happily going absolutely bonkers in this crisis...denying science, facts, recommending we put people lives at risk based on...well, probably on right wing media I'm guessing. Look at their representatives.

Top Republicans over the weekend urged Americans to dine out and socialize, contradicting advice from public-health officials to stop the spread of the novel coronavirus.
"Eating with my kids and all my fellow Oklahomans at the @CollectiveOKC. It's packed tonight!" Gov. Kevin Stitt of Oklahoma said in a tweet he later deleted following a backlash.
"If you're healthy, you and your family, it's a great time to go out and go to a local restaurant, likely you can get in easy,"
Rep. Devin Nunes of California told Fox News. "Let's not hurt the working people in this country ... go to your local pub."

That's almost certainly not true. The shortage of tests and the mild nature of symptoms for many means that the majority of cases, possibly the vast majority, have not been officially recorded as confirmed coronavirus.

EVERY medical expert on this has said that there are likely way more cases than what has been confirmed. Why hide from it, when it won't do us any good? People need to be aware of the danger, the virus has already been spreading.

Obama is their "golden calf". The utter corruption of the Obama administration was seen with all the "russian collusion" bs going on with the FBI and CIA....wholly taken over by democratic operatives.
