Trump declares Sunday a National Day of Prayer amid coronavirus crisis

To be fair, the President was told these people came to pray TO him, not for or with him.

Though the caption says "with", I believe it was not "to", nor "with", but "for". Which would mean since then Trump hasn't been terribly responsive through any medium, let alone godly.

Like facts, prayer has no effect on Trump.

Except praying to Trump rather than for is good for his ego/narcissism. Although, as I understand it, you pray to God, for yourself and other people. And if you've ever noticed, I often refer to Trump as Him. It fits like the Emperors new clothes.

Shame on Trump for calling for prayer during perilous times

People just gotta find SOMETHING to whine about....

Speaking of prayer, I have to say I'm pretty impressed with Muslims. In my limited experience they pray for what God wants. Christians seem to pray for what they want.

I don't know if it makes a difference to having prayers answered.

No problem with Christians asking for what they want within they context of scripture:

Phlippians 4:19

And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.

Psalm 37:4

Take delight in the LORD, and he will give you the desires of your heart.

Matthew 7:7-11

7 “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.
8 For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened.
9 “Which of you, if your son asks for bread, will give him a stone?
10 Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a snake?
11 If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him!

Of course, what is “good” is open to interpretation as what is good for you. Maybe money would ruin you. Then there are “needs” vs wants.

Oh, this conman is just too slick. That will put the people who call themselves Christians (but yet support the liar and his corruption) right back in line. As if that subset of Christians would ever forsake him.

No word on when Trump last attended church.
