Back in the day, I suspect most outhouses did. lol

When I was in art school we went on a field trip to sketch an old farmer's house and surroundings. When I asked if I could use his bathroom and he handed me a telephone book and pointed to the outhouse.

I went to Sams today for other things. It was crazy. The line to get OUT of the store stretched all the way past the registers to the deli counter i.e. pretty much the length of the store. Ironic though was there was nobody in line at the register when I go to the one I used. Anyway, protip==costs more but when there is a run on things avoid discount stores. Lowes had plenty of toilet paper and paper towels when I was there. They just cost more. Also had those disinfecting lysol wipe things.
 
If you missed the rush, and have no toilet paper, Walmart is selling Hillary's book for 98 cents.

People have gone insane. We went through the toilet paper thing yesterday. The only type Hubby could find after waiting a half hour for the stock boys to get it off the truck was Charmin. The type that clogs your toilets. The rolls are so big they won't fit on the toilet paper holders but it is better than not having any. The media is part of this hysteria but the people are also responsible for acting like idiots.

But you know when this is all over we as a nation will be stronger for it because what this virus has unveiled.
1. too many times in history these horrific viruses/plagues start in China 2. the U.S. over decades have allowed over the majority of all our medicines to be produced in China. That is insanity. Think about it just for a minute that we are beholden to China for our antibiotics, blood pressure medications and beyond. The Corona virus is the most recent but last year it was a pneumonia from bacteria spread by rats in 2019.

The Real Reason to Panic About China's Plague Outbreak

Our pharmaceuticals and anything health related need to be produced in the U.S. not China. Period. You know people trashed Trump for wanting to return production of what we need back from China China China. for years to be produced in the states. Well he was right. And after this pandemic, pharmaceuticals will be something that will be forefront especially after China threatened to withhold medications and started propaganda that the U.S. military started this pandemic.

When you take it all in the bat**** crazy people hoarding toilet paper, Kleenex, paper towels is annoying but it is the least of our problems at this time.

No one incited a run on paper products. It was done by the public in response to the lack of leadership in the Federal Govt. Does it make sense? Not really but when the President says things like "it is going to disappear like a miracle" the public knew they were on their own and became desperate to do SOMETHING.
