Joe Biden does not look well.

Oh Zim, this preoccupation with Biden's health makes you look... Well....obsessive. But its kind of you to be concerned over a future Presidents health.

Yup. Senile Joe is on run. But hey, he's platform is superior to Bernie's platform, hell yeah :lamo

DNC needs to be dismantled at this point.
Oh knock it off. The DNC is not the problem. The organization did not cast a single vote and you have zero evidence that votes were harvested, or doctored or that election tabulation was significantly compromised in Florida, Illinois, Arizona, Washington, Michigan, Missouri Mississippi, Idaho, Virginia, South Carolina, Maine, Oklahoma, Texas, Minnesota Arkansas Tennessee, and Massachusetts . Blame the voters. Its time to give them the credit or the blame for their decisions. This was a convincing rebuke to the Sanders campaign in the vast majority of contests. They want Trump gone, and they don't think Sanders is the guy to take him down. I wanted Warren or Buttigieg, but you don't see me blaming the 'system' or the DNC because the voters did not.

If you don't like how voters came to their decision, talk to them about it.

No actually it's not. It does not account for regional temps. The county by county electoral map is a much more accurate thermometer.

Wishful thinking on your part. Political correctness is on it's last leg.

Always.

Yes.... it is. Last I heard , we're these UNITED American STATES

Sure buddy.... We don't have gays being married now? We don't have special restrooms in our schools that transgenders can use? We don't have legalization of marijuana happening in states every election now? We don't have most Americans wanting to ban Assault weapons?

What cave have you been in?

No, it isn't. The popular vote for President is merely the mechanism States use to determine their electors for the Electoral College. It has absolutely no meaning beyond the State where it was conducted. Which is why those who receive the most popular votes in the States can also lose the presidential election. One or more States can abolish the popular vote for President tomorrow if they so desired. It is not a measure of anything, other than to whom the States will allocate its Electoral College votes. It is the States that elect Presidents, not the people.

Don't give me another one of you civil lessons(vain). I know how that works(It don't)

Our citizenry is broken, therefore our election process is therefore broken

You're very typical. I'm NOT typical

You are clearly in need of a lesson in civics since you erroneously think the popular vote for President is "the thermometer of our country." Our citizenry is broken. Broken because today we have a nation full of the civically illiterate. As you have demonstrated, most Americans don't have the vaguest clue how their own government functions. A participatory government with a civically illiterate citizenry is broken indeed.

Yes.... it is. Last I heard , we're these UNITED American STATES

All the more reason for the electoral college.

Assault weapons have been banned since the prohibition era. Perhaps you are a bit confused on the definition of assault weapons.

What cave have you been in?

Yawn.....

Just sit home during the general election like all of your fellow Bernie Bros did for the primaries. That’ll show ‘em!

Bernie's running in Europe?

But excellent suggestion nonetheless - why vote for the criminal Democrat gang?

Yep, which isn't the thermometer of our country(It's citizenry)

Maybe you will finally catch on?

It seems that states define what an assault weapon is. Maybe it is you who are confused?

Oh my.....

Two-thirds of Americans support assault weapons ban: Fox News poll | TheHill

As opposed to the actual criminal in the White House? I’d vote for Reagan’s corpse over that traitorous piece of trash.

And you are still missing my point that the electoral college is a much better thermometer of where Americans stand as it shows regional vs a simple majority. The popular vote primarily speaks for densely populated states like California and New York, where the electoral college lets you know what for instance, Texas, Nebraska, Kansas, Montana, etc think. You want a simple majority to speak for all while disregarding the concept of 50 united states of America. As for you link on an assault weapons ban. I'll discuss that with you once you show that you understand the difference between Assault Weapons and Assault style weapons. Assault Weapons were banned during the prohibition era and are still banned. You must obtain a federal license to legally possess one. The since expired Brady Bill banned assault style weapons. The gun manufacturers simply made a few cosmetic changes to make them legal.

Again, you're still talking election

I'm talking about the county as a whole

You're still thinking election, I'm thinking about our total American population that votes(It's citizenry)

I tried to type a little slower this time

I am talking about the country as a whole as well. You are just refusing to accept that densely populated areas like Los Angeles, San Francisco, and New York City do not speak for the entire United States. The vast majority of the United States of America supports Trump. That's why he was elected president.

Uh... no you are not

A "region" is NOT the country as a whole

The electoral college is an education for you. It tells you that the specific temperature(your term) in each region of the nation does not match the temperature in socialist zones like California and New York. These are the United States of America....not one big state. Each of the 50 states maintains a significant level of sovereignity. The specific temperature of all regions matter much more then the simple majority you want to push. To put it bluntly, you are just part of the librul crowd that is butthurt over the results of the 2016 election.

This is well stated. I believe there is another point to be made.

This is only the fifth time a president has lost the popular vote. If nothing else, it is a rare occurrence. To me, it shows a deeply divided nation.

States do count. I agree with your assessment. People count as well. Earning a majority vote is typically claimed as a mandate by the winner. I agree with this. The margin in the electoral college is a margin of states. (Of course). The margin of victory within each state is a margin of voters. These margins can and do fluctuate, and in this respect, I'll use the term barometer.

Winning California's 55 electoral votes by 10,000 is certainly indicative of greater division than winning it by a million. The popular vote is simply an aggregation of each state's 'barometer.'

I agree but add that winning with a sizable electoral college margin is also claimed as a mandate. What most of the left as well as the pollsters missed out on is that Trump can certainly claim a mandate. And that mandate was given to him by working class Americans who are tired of establishment politics and status quo.

He’s walking like a slightly malfunctioning robot…he mumbled a statement wholly unrelated to any of the questions asked… and then jiggled off towards his safe space.

Where’d Joe go?

Did they wrap him in shrink wrap and fill his yap with a sock and cover it with tape?

Perhaps a better strategy than letting him loose on the Internet... but hiding the candidate didn’t work too well for Hillary...

Just say’in.

Quid Pro Joe?

You won't see him no more.
