If you listen to the corrupt MSM you are probably in a panic! Dont be. Look at the actual numbers of what is happening.

So far in the US 19 people have died of the latest virus. Most of them really old people with other problems. Yet so far just in Chicago, 84 people have been murdered. So really where should our concern be directed.

Personally I would suggest the people of Chicago should vote all the democrats out of office in the city, and see if republican can handle the situation.
 
I don't need the corrupt MSM. I look at the numbers in my bathroom.

Will the death rate for violence go up ~1.33x per week? Because right now that is what this virus is doing.

March 4, 3285 recorded deaths
March 11, 4377 recorded deaths

In the US, its even more alarming. We are at 30 dead so far today vs 11 a week ago. That is nearly a 300% increase in a week. Does death by violence rise so quickly?

This is the kind of pie in the sky thinking that will power the Democrats in November. Denial, denial, denial, in the face of an outbreak of a new disease. As of this morning there are 32 reported deaths, more than 700 confirmed cases, and those numbers are probably a fraction of the real numbers. The governor of Washington said the other day that the actual cases in his state is well over 1,000. There are more than 100 cases in one town in New York. We have no handle on the real cases in part because we have tested fewer than 7,000 people across the country. Health professionals who know the patterns of this kind of an outbreak reflect a very different attitude from that of the OP and the tub of lard who cues him.

Considering the lack of functional testing kits in this country, and that as of yesterday only 6500+ people have been tested, your claim that Chicago is a region where the virus is not is most likely extremely inaccurate.
 
Chicago voters do what they are told. They still fear the remnants of the machine, that or they think just because an elected official is the same skin color as they that they have "their" interest at heart. Its a city drenched in Demokrat corruption.

The fact it is limited in one location is factual is it not? Is the virus limited to only one city? No.

Gang related violent crime (aka gun violence) is obviously not limited to one region. I agree that he did not say it was OK, just that more deaths were not as large of a cause for concern.

People such as yourself advising others not to 'panic' and blaming this all on the MSM are doing more harm than good. You aren't using logic. When a bunch of people are murdered in Chicago, it's done, they're dead. End of statistic. When 32 people in the US die from coronavirus, our logical brains say 'not a big deal' to us. But it's a great big deal because those 32 people that died may have come in contact with 32 others that are walking around without symptoms passing it on to 32 more people which becomes 1,024 new carriers and possible infections and they in turn past it to new carriers, etc. That's how epidemics continue to grow and become much more difficult to contain.

You get my point, right? The best example is how the virus grew in Italy. In just one week, the infection rate in Italy from coronavirus went from 4 cases on Friday, Feb 27th to more than 528 by the following Thursday, killing 14 people. It literally exploded in less than a week. So it's not the actual number of known deaths that's the important factor here, it's the number of known infections that's causing the panic. Deaths in Chicago by violence is a contained, statistical number that's completely irrelevant to the epidemic of coronavirus.
