I mean, as of this post, there aren't six running, and the support those that did run got was abysmal. I'm not sure you have a very strong argument; in fact a few posts ago you insinuated that a man was better to beat Trump than a woman. I kinda have to rest my case.
You have misinterpreted me again. I never said, or even implied that 'a man was better to beat Trump than a woman'. What I said is "people wanted desperately to have a candidate that they're 100% certain will beat Trump and it happens to be Joe Biden. It has nothing to do with gender."
The democratic party is able to pull together for a common goal, egos notwithstanding. The republican party wasn't able to do this in 2015 and coalesce against Trump. They all laughed at Trump, they didn't respect him, they knew he was an ass. But none of them could step aside and support another candidate in order to defeat him as the democrats have done. Ted Cruz had no doubt that he could win. Marco Rubio had a lot of help from the NRA and the Hispanic community and thought he could win. Neither of them had enough humility, patriotism and love of party to be able to say 'it's not my turn, I'll support the other guy'. So they allowed Trump to win by being such narcissistic,
impertinent fools.
The Democrats understand that the party had to come together under one candidate to beat Trump. There's no way this county can survive a second term of him.
