Re: Live Thread for the SC Presidential Primary

CNN projected Biden as winner as soon as the clock hit 7 PM which anticipates a huge win with a high difference to the second placed candidate.

No numbers from actual vote counting yet but it seems like Biden may be back in the race.

Fox news is projecting Biden with 50.6% of the vote, Sanders with 19%, Steyer with 12.5%, Buttigieg with 7.7%, Warren with 4.9%, Klobuchar with 3.6%, and the idiot known as Tulsi Gabbard with 1.3% (what in the hell is she doing, still running???)

Trump is tweeting, making fun of Bloomberg's few votes... oblivious to the fact that Bloomberg is NOT running in SC, LOL. Why is Trump so clueless???

Reminiscent of 2016 when Hillary ran up huge victory margins among black voters. There something about Bernies message that just doesnt seem to resonate with black democrats.

Now, real numbers coming in, 2% count, Biden 52.9%, Sanders 17.8%, Steyer 12.5%, Buttigieg 7%

This is a real blow to progressives... This is giving to moderates an overwhelming lead in this one state (of course, there are many more to go, but still...). With the other candidates factored in, this is about 22.5% for progressives and 77.5% for moderates. Whoa!

Maybe the idea that Bernie Sander's nomination was inevitable, was premature after all.

After tonight, Bernie Sanders remains way out front with a commanding lead in delegates.

Sanders dominates Super Tuesday polls. He has a 2-1 lead over anyone in CA. This will likely be Biden's best few days until Tuesday and then Bernie hopefully will be dominant.

And then he will lose to Trump!

Bernie can join Hillary in the Hall of Shame.

Except we've had 3+ years of this asshole, so Hillary looks like the better loss...
