Nearly all of our masks are made in China, and many pharmaceuticals are too, especially antibiotics. That’s the downside of multinationalism - China is not likely to want to share.

That's funny, if the stock market is tanking because of the potential for a democratic candidate, it doesn't
bode well for their confidence that Trump is going to be reelected.

That thought didn't occur to him.


Obviously, that's not why the stocks tanked, they tanked because Trump doesn't have a ****ing clue about the coronavirus, when is spreading all over the world and affecting supply chains and he can't articulate specifics about what is being done about it.

Off-topic, last night azgreg said that he liked these town halls a whole lot more than the debates. He is most certainly correct.

We all want to see trump do a town hall in my Midwest that he flipped.

The Post reports, "Moments after President Trump announced that Vice President Pence will take over the White House’s coronavirus task force, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention confirmed that a northern California person has contracted the coronavirus without traveling outside the United States or coming in contact with another patient known to have the infection — the first sign that the disease may be spreading within a local community."

That is so typical of Trump. Instead of selecting a doctor to be in charge of a surging pandemic, he appoints his very own political hack, and one of the most incompetent, obsequious politicians in Washington. Just the kind of man Trump wanted, a loyal lapdog.

Trump doesn't give a **** about it. The only thing he's concerned with is how its hurting the stock market. His favorite measurement of economic health.
