FiveThirtyEight Editor-in-Chief and influential political statistician Nate Silver said presidential candidate Mike Bloomberg is in “a lot of trouble,” Wednesday, after dropping in national and state polls following his two subpar debate appearances.


“Bloomberg is in quite a lot of trouble. His national polls have stalled out or begun to reverse themselves,” Silver claimed on Twitter. “He’s fallen to 11% in our CA polling average. In other Super Tuesday states, we aren’t seeing the leads we saw pre-NV debate; it’s a lot of stuff in the teens and low 20s.”

Well I don't think that the Democrats are nationally that easily taken as the GOP by some rich con man.

Meh, Bernie isn't a con man. He's sincere about his political ideology and platform, whether one agrees with him or not. He's not some scummy wanna-be gangster who uses the courts as a weapon of intimidation and skips out on bills whenever he can.
 
Bloomberg did pretty good on the last debate. His numbers will go up a little.

Pretty good compared to his previous debate performance, you mean. And last night's performance was pretty bad. But generally speaking, it's easy to improve after what was arguably the worst defeat in debate history.

Nah, they would have gotten suckered by Bloomberg if he had any debate skills whatsoever. Hell, the left still might get suckered by him. To be fair to the libs though, Bloomberg being exposed as a racist, sexist, arrogant, billionaire authoritarian and his debate collapse have left them with virtually no one to vote for.

This is all just a war of attrition. They dont need to beat Bernie...they need to be the most viable alternative to Bernie when the convention rolls around and the DNC ****s Bernie over.

All Bloomberg needs to do at this point is show up and not do terrible. He doesn't need to be on that stage to represent an alternative to the radically failed idea that a Bernie/Warren type economy is not what will win a national election. There are plenty of other people already on that stage making the counter argument against radical socialism. So all Bloomberg needs to do is keep his own seat warm and the real determination will be made at the Democratic convention.

If Bloomberg's plan was to debate the rest of the herd he would have been out doing in months ago. NO--- he has a plan in place and just like a Nascar racer all he needs to be is in the running in the top 6 and wait to see what happens during the last week. If a "green/white/checkered" occurs at the convention--- he still has a great chance of taking the win.

The guy is no dummy. And he clearly isn't phased by the desperate attacks against him especially from Warren who is fighting for relevancy each time she stands there in the progressive shadows next to Sanders.

When Warren accused Bloomberg of asking a woman to kill her unborn baby--- Warren pretty much jumped the shark. It was desperate and outrageous. But the key point there is that Bloomberg didn't flinch and he stood his ground. Which kind of shows he could take the same insults from Trump and not back down.

Last night I think:

Bloomberg had a +
Biden a +
Warren a -
Styer a -
Bernie stayed the same
as did the rest
