A Milwaukee teacher, Travis Sarandos, has been placed on leave after delighting in the news that the radio legend Rush Limbaugh was diagnosed with advanced-stage cancer.

He recently declared on Twitter that “Limbaugh absolutely should have to suffer from cancer. It’s awesome that he’s dying, and hopefully it is as quick as it is painful.”

What a sick person. Reminds me of all the democrats that sat on their hands when Limbaugh was introduced at the State of the Union.

A rude comment is something like the meal you cooked sucked. A sick comment is wishing someone who has cancer die quickly and painfully.
You need to know the difference between rude and sick comments.
 
Unless there is more to this story, as long as his comments are private and on Twitter and not something he is teaching at school or promoting in a class I fail to see how it is anyone elses business but his.

Quit acting like you care about sick comments. Some rando who you've never met nor have ever heard of said something nasty and you act like you care. I'm willing to bet that you didn't make similar comments when president Trump trashed John McCain's POW status or said he might be looking up from hell after he died.

The comment by the pastor is sick and uncalled for.
Others on the right would condemn this type of view.
However, the left has no problem with what the teacher said and would not condemn it. Just like you never condemned it.

I don't agree with what they teacher said. I don't have to denounce like a dancing monkey everything you on the right come here with or I would be spending all my time going "No, I don't support this", etc. If you want to know my position on something specific, ASK ME and I'll tell you just like I did here now.

If the left had no problem with it the teacher wouldn't have been placed on leave and most likely fired.

Again, you generalizing over 150 million people based on one teach is pathetic.

Actually, I do care. I cringe at some of the stuff that comes out of Trumps mouth. However, I have never heard him say he wished another American dying of cancer die quickly and painfully.

So it is OK for the right like Limbaugh to say what he wants and get a medal of freedom, but if someone on the left speaks his mind on Twitter, he gets put on leave. Now if this teacher said it in his classroom, that would be one thing, but he said it on his private time as an American citizen and gets put on leave. If Iwere him, I would sue the hell out of that school
