Two years ago Trump fired America's entire pandemic response team

The legacy of Obama's economy has continued into this presidency has done a pretty good job of masking Trump's buffoon incompetence. But Trump's incompetence is chipping away at all that with more Farmers declaring bankruptcy and as manufacturing slumps etcetera.

I always thought that Trump's incompetence would be gloriously evident if there ever were a crisis. Well, a crisis is upon us with the coronavirus.

See, two years ago Trump fired the entire pandemic response team and they weren't replaced. Since the beginning Trump has loathed and abused science but now more than ever he needs science.

In typical Trump fashion he seems to be more worried about how the coronavirus will affect his re-election prospects than those whom the virus has killed and will kill.

To all the morons who voted for this man, I hope you are happy as more people die to this man's epic stupidity.

Seems about right. Now he has to beg for money instead of having supported an infrastructure that was capable of responding more effectively and efficiently to these crises.

Punkinhead can solve coronavirus pandemics by himself better than anyone, believe me. I can't reveal the genius plan, but I can tell you that it involves a lot of raking.
 
Well, he stole all of the military's money for his slat wall that gets blown over by the wind the day after it's erected. I would say he could "re-appropriate" some of those funds and have more than enough money, but I'm willing to bet it's already been siphoned off into one of his off shore accounts.

It's hysterical, really. He says coronavirus is contained and not a problem, the very next day Italy goes on lockdown and other nations are sounding the alarms. He said the stock market is looking great and he loves it, the next day it falls 1000 points.

The man is completely delusional. He has no idea of the real world. Sadly, that's part of the problem of being a legend in your own mind.

This remind me of when I lived in Georgia and every 6 or so years we had (what counts for Georgia) a bad snow storm, the people would get pissed, the state would build up infrastructure. Then three or so years later, the people would get pissed because we are spending this money for no reason. Then years later, we have no infrastructure and a snowstorm hits.

Trumps own hand picked leader of the Corona task force was fumbling around twitter yesterday claiming he could not find a world map of the virus. He works for Trump for god's sake, can he not go directly to the CDC for that information?

Why need another agency when one has the CDC?
 
Sweet move DonDon. The first thing we should have been doing was activating the existing teams Obama had in place .....But NOOOOOOOOO!!!!! Obama had them. So they must be bad. DonDon takes them down.

We are not anywhere near out of the woods on this and DonDon is looking for people to blame as usual. Obviously China bears a good deal of the blame. However, in years past, we would have had assets to activate that would have been readily received anywhere in the world to fight such a virus.

I am not at all encouraged with how this is going. That said a couple of private companies are presenting quickly synthesized vaccines though I have no idea how they synthesized them. No reports that I have heard of people with the virus that are asymptomatic.

Well, unless chapter 12 bankruptcy has significantly risen this last year, it's still less than during president Obama's presidency.

As I understand it, the team was full of egotistical elitists, demanding higher salaries, and not producing any worth while work.

If there are less farms there will be less going into bankruptcy.

There are no Federal Government Response teams just sitting there outside of US military in their barracks. There was a team in the CDC doing CDC work and the other response team was in the NSC doing NSC work.

Geezuz the number of Americans that have no earthly idea how its government and administration is designed to work has reached an epidemic level.....it appears to be its own virus.

What did they accomplish of value?

It was an unproductive program and cuts need to be made as we have budget deficits every year.

If you want programs like this, have nation wide bake sales or something to fund them. Stop asking tax payers to pay for unproductive programs.
