RUSH LIMBAUGH (HOST): Folks, this coronavirus thing, I want to try to put this in perspective for you. It looks like the coronavirus is being weaponized as yet another element to bring down Donald Trump. Now, I want to tell you the truth about the coronavirus. You think I’m wrong about this? You think I’m missing it by saying that’s -- Yeah, I’m dead right on this. The coronavirus is the common cold, folks.

The drive-by media hype of this thing as a pandemic, as the Andromeda strain, as, “Oh, my God. If you get it, you’re dead,” do you know what the — I think the survival rate is 98%. Ninety-eight percent of people who get the coronavirus survive. It’s a respiratory system virus. It probably is a ChiCom laboratory experiment that is in the process of being weaponized. All superpower nations weaponize bioweapons. They experiment with them. The Russians, for example, have weaponized fentanyl. Now, fentanyl is also not what it is represented to be.

It's time to pull the plug on this guy. He's beginning to make Alex Jones look sane. But, I will give him points for referencing the Andromeda Strain. I remember that film from my youth. It was pretty creepy.

If anything, the media has been underplaying this. IMO, the stock market should have plunged two weeks ago, when it became obvious that the supply chain would be interrupted and travel abroad limited if not frozen.

Who is dumber, Rush, Hannity or Trump? Who is dumb, dumber and dumbest?

I would say Rush is dumb, Hannity is dumber and Trump is the dumbest of all.

The entire conservative movement is full of idiots like Sarah Palin and G.W. Bush. We thought G.W. was dumb.

I think if we can fix our educational system we could kill off social conservatism.

Trump can be blame for many things but I fail to see how this could be any way connected to Trump.

Rush states this is nothing more than a common cold. The thought a "common cold" bringing down a president is beyond me.

Most people get infected with one or more of these viruses at some point in their lives. This information applies to common human coronaviruses and should not be confused with coronavirus disease 2019

Coronavirus disease 2019 is a new virus first detected in Wuhan , China. So Rush is partly correct that the corona viruses 229E, NL63, OC43 , and HKU1 are similar to the common cold. But he failed to comprehend that coronavirus 2019 is a new coronavirus with much worse outcomes.

If Trump takes Rush's word for it then as president he has direct control of the Department of Health and Human Services and he CDC so he could have them back off this "fake" pandemic research.
