I prefer neither. I would like to see a complete shift in out healthcare system to managed preventative healthcare instead of only symptom responses. Beginning well before prenatal care. With far greater emphasis on physical activity in our school systems, greater exploration and learning about nutrition, eliminating insurance company middlemen profiting with blood money, an active national effort to eliminate obesity in children and adults, better understanding and therapy for other eating disorders, teaching a philosophy in our schools of bodies as temples, and we are what we eat (remember Abbie Hoffman who did not take his own advice), and figuring out how to counter the abuse of opioids and methedrine, and so forth.

Of course a pipe dream as those same insurers manage our medicare and medicaid programs. Money and profits must be made, no matter the cost in blood.

The assumption that healthcare must be one or the other and not a possible better alternative is a painful thing to accept, for the entire nation.

I continue to be mystified at the number of people of color supporting Bernie Sanders. He's completely indifferent to racism and only cares about taking it to the "millonehs" and "billionehs".

I wouldn't jump the gun just yet. As you seem to indicate, Nevada is not the place it was a few decades ago. Most of Nevada's population is in Clark County (Vegas) and everybody knows Vegas is a stupid place, one that has drawn more and more stupid from some of the most low rent areas mainly in California.

I wouldn't use Nevada democrats (the newer ones there) as a good indicator of how democrats in middle American will vote. Sure Bernie will be popular in Chicago, Seattle, SF, and Hawaii. But those places don't resemble much of the rest of the country---even areas where democrats are plenty.

Right now the democratic party is in disarray. And some voters are just jumping on a Bernie bandwagon because the rest of the field is very weak. Democrats want to defeat Trump, and they are feeling desperate right now. But if Bernie wins the nomination, he will not win the Presidency and the democrats will lose the house--- maybe even some seats in the Senate too.

He may get an idea to give your pony to someone one else more deserving than you to have your pony just like your money.

I changed my mind about hiding the pony it may cause you grief if Bernie discovers that you were hiding your pony from someone that was more deserving than you to have your pony.

Sorry, you may not be allowed to have a pony in Bernie’s utopia... like “the free money others” getting ponies... but not for you based on you being an “other person” with to much money that needs to be shared with “the free money others”.

But don’t lose hope... after Bernie drains you of all your money... you will qualify for the free money to buy yourself a pony.

And, in the end Bernie will at least keep his millions and his homes and may even increase his wealth as you lose yours but you will have that free pony thanks to Bernie!

Bernie is a Socialist. He is also now a politician. He is fishing for votes. He is not worried about hispanics or anyone else beyond their vote. If he were he would live like his voters and have one home not three. No Bernie is a hard core socialist. Socialism may be about public ownership but it's not the public making decisions about application.. He believes the government should be running the means production, distribution and exchange of the country. That this small group of government officials will make the decision for these things and keep in mind for what portion of these things you get. Will they live like the masses, not they will not. They will live like they live now, wealthier and with more houses, Bern. He needs more votes so he goes after people who will be attracted to promises of "free" stuff. Don't believe you will be able to rise above where the government thinks you should be. You receive what they determine you deserve. Study Socialism and Communism because the grand daddy of Communism confused the two on a regular basis, they are not far apart. In fact Marx/Engels often indicated that Socialism was just the first step on the march to Communism.

That is mystifying isn’t it!

I’m mystified at the number of Americans that are supporting Bernie Sanders? What is up with that?

Perhaps, all the freebies he says he will provide in all of his speeches?

Plus, those who are voting for him who want those freebies... ignoring the fact that he will not be able to actually provide all of those freebies.

Since, Bernie has achieved the status of being a millionaire... he no longer cares about taking it to “millionehs”

Today... Bernie only cares about taking it to the “billionehs”
