This is just too funny. Here, I'll clip this article to show how weird things have become...


"Clint Eastwood, a longtime supporter of Republican candidates...

Eastwood told the newspaper that he approves of "certain things" that Trump has done as President...

He said, however, that he wishes Trump would behave "in a more genteel way, without tweeting and calling people names...

"I would personally like for him to not bring himself to that level...

"That's a tough one, isn't it? I'd have to go for Trump ... you know, 'cause she's declared that she's gonna follow in Obama's footsteps...She's made a lot of dough out of being a politician...

Eastwood also famously spoke at the 2012 Republican National Convention, in which he addressed an "invisible" President Barack Obama sitting in an empty chair...

Eastwood represents what is wrong with many wealthy centrist types. He said he would prefer someone like Bloomberg, who holds the same ugly racist, sexist views that Trump does, but isn't quite so obvious about it. People who act like scumbags with smiles on their faces are still scumbags.
 
What's so unusual about Eastwood's views? His constructive criticisms echo the same sentiments as most of Trump's supporters.
I have to wonder about anyone who thinks their president should be without human fault.

Anytime Clint's name comes up I think of that story about him and Burt Reynolds running into each other after they both had been fired. Clint for having a skinny neck and Burt for being unable to act. Burt told him something along the lines of "At least I can take acting lessons. I don't know what the hell you can do."

Clint Eastwood is a national treasure for his work in cinema. His defection from Trump is welcome and hopefully - significant.
 
Im a big fan of Clint and his movies, but lets face it- the man is like 89+ and going senile.

Second no one expects a president to be without fault, however we should expect a president that is among the best of us. Not this piece of garbage you idolize because he makes liberals heads explode.

Clint Eastwood criticizes Trump's behavior while liking some of his accomplishments. So what? Members of the Republican party have often criticized Trump over his remarks but like his accomplishments. So what?

Do you think Clint Eastwood would vote for Bernie Sanders over Donald Trump?

Concur on the first sentence - he's a true genius.

I don't think his defection is significant, however, as he's really not that conservative.

Trump is MUCH less corrupt and dangerous than MANY prior presidents.

But the Liberal Echo Chamber of Hysterical Addiction makes this hard for some to see.
