De Javu...I am feeling an eerie sense of dejavu

As with most things, both sides disagree on how to get where both sides want to go. It doesn't help when one side accuses the other of fighting a war against women, the poor, seniors, immigrants, minorities, and calls the other side racists, bigots, white nationalists, misogynists and call rich people evil and greedy and when one side wants to help those that need help merely by giving them things for free with nothing required of them in return. Many people come to America for the American Dream but the left want to take the dream away because, to them, their dream is socialism.

Simple question....since we've been on this topic have I said or implied any of those things you've said above?
The conversation has gone from unions and good pay to what we have today and now we are talking about the loss of the American dream for immigrants.
As I said before I can't keep up with the shifting narratives.

It's a big forum with lots of members and tons of posts. It is a common theme of the left to lump together all of the things I mentioned. If some of it doesn't apply to you then I apologize. I can't remember all of the positions of every member but since you post like one of those lefties then I just automatically assumed you believed the same principles.

Unions put themselves out of business by demanding too much and getting too greedy, forcing companies to find cheaper labor. Pro business creates more jobs than being anti-business. It's just common sense. The left seem to be just fine with waving their arms up in the air and saying, "That's just the new economy" and letting the jobs leave the country. Now you can criticize Trump for whether he has helped these people or not but at least he's trying instead of just waving his arms up in the air and saying there's nothing we can do but force Walmart and McDonalds to offer part time jobs at $15 per hour to replace the $30 per hour full time jobs with benefits that Democrats let leave the country. Many on the left are stupid as a bunch of rocks. They want to force both Walmart and McDonalds to pay their workers $15 per hour but continue selling things cheaply and allowing the US to import cheap goods worldwide for the poor to purchase.

Yes it is a big forum with lots of people. However when I'm responding or asking a question of someone I at least try to go at it with an open mind willing to listen, not insult & not name call.
I'm sorry your preconceived notion of the "enemy" doesn't allow you to do the same.
I get it you hate everything you think is left and won't allow the same nuance, nor benefit of the doubt your willing to give the right.
At first you said Democrats were the reason for the decline in unions and jobs leaving now your saying unions were the cause for jobs leaving and they shouldn't have tried to get there members the best pay and benefits, basically union workers were greedy.
Nice talking to you I probably won't remember this conversation so at some point I will respond to you again I'm sure. I hope I will continue to communicate with people with an open mind but its getting harder and harder.

Yes, ever since Trump won there are no open minds on the left. All they can do is spew anti-Trump 24/7. They know nothing else but their total obsession to take Trump down. Democrats and unions are one in the same. The left need to take a long hard look in the mirror as to why Trump won in 2016 instead of avoiding the truth and just hollaring Russian collusion, Russian collusion. It's getting old and tiresome. Now it's gotten to the point where the left are perfectly fine with Russia interfering in the election to prop up Bernie and Bernie is totally fine with Russia's help. He'll accept every vote Russia gets him. Where is the left's outrage that Russia is propping up Bernie? The left seem to be totally fine with Russia helping Bernie all the way to the White House.

I didn’t even vote for Trump, not in the primaries or in the general. I didn’t want him to be president. But, he won and he is our legitimate president and the left can’t deal with it. Their total hatred of Trump or anyone who supports him is disgusting.

Your projecting. You have been talking to one person, that was communicating with you with an open mind. If you had persuasive arguements I may have agreed with you. But you kept changing the arguements and on top of the last few responses have been all hate filled.

He does not have to fight anything. The voters want their government to run their lives and get private industry out of their lives as much as possible. If enough citizens want that, then the others who ask the detailed questions do not matter. They become the minority and this country pretty much says F___ the minority.
