Apparently the intel agencies are raising red flags again about ongoing Russian interference in American elections to help Trump win again. Congress is getting ongoing briefings on this.

In the usual course of events, the White House would be interested in working with congress to devise counterintelligence measures to protect the country against such national security threats. But of course in this administration the concern is not about national security, it’s about the personal interests of Donald Trump. So apparently Donald is angry at the intel agencies for reporting this to congress, specifically for telling the house intel committee chairman Adam Schiff. I guess they should have known better than to keep congress informed.

” US intelligence officials have repeatedly warned that Russia did not stop its efforts to interfere in US elections after 2016.

FBI Director Christopher Wray told the Senate Judiciary Committee last month that Moscow was continuing to "engage in malign foreign influence" online with the goal of sowing division and discord, "and to generate controversy, to generate distrust in our democratic institutions in our electoral process."

A national security official in the Trump administration told CNN that election security official Shelby Pierson, who conducted last week's briefing to the house, may have mischaracterized the intelligence that Russia has developed a preference for Trump.

"A more reasonable interpretation of the intelligence is not that they have a preference, it's a step short of that. It's more that they understand the President is someone they can work with, he's a dealmaker. But not that they prefer him over (Bernie) Sanders or (Pete) Buttigieg or anyone else," the official said...

But many of Trump's foreign policy moves have seemed to play into Russia's goals, including his withdrawal from Syria, his repeatedly debunked claim that Ukraine, not Moscow, interfered in the 2016 election and his frequent attacks on NATO and Western unity.

So it is not hard to see why Russia -- which pursues a foreign policy largely designed to splinter US influence and undermine the West -- might favor four more years of Trump if its goal is indeed to see him returned to the Oval Office.”

America, Trump is not about you. He is about himself. He’s just using you.

Still over there going nuts about Russia, Russia and even more Russia huh CNN?

I hope you guys learn at some point, that just repeatedly touting out this same BS over and over. Really doesn't have that much of a chance of working.

Because repeatedly being caught misrepresenting information and completely lying to your viewers. Is probably one of the more damning things that can haunt the network.

I really hope that CNN can get their **** straight eventually.

This is why Trump is stocking the Intel community with the faithful. They will gladly look away, as his supporters on these threads are.

Its fascinating to watch authoritarian corruption unfold and embraced before one's eyes.

No, don’t worry. We, and the American intelligence agencies, have already learned that it’s not going to work. But not because it’s not true.

I have no doubt that Trump will do better than Obama did:

The bipartisan report found that the Obama administration was ill-prepared to handle the novel election interference offensive and recommended that in the future the “public should be informed as soon as possible” if a foreign active measures campaign is detected.

“After discovering the existence, if not the full scope, of Russia’s election interference efforts in late-2016, the Obama Administration struggled to determine the appropriate response,” the committee’s GOP chairman, Sen. Richard Burr of North Carolina, said in a statement.

“Frozen by ‘paralysis of analysis,’ hamstrung by constraints both real and perceived, Obama officials debated courses of action without truly taking one,” he said.

Contrary to the belief evinced by some, President of the United States of America Donald Trump doesn't need Russian help to undermine American democracy.

Russia has been interfering in America for 50 plus years! The Trump hate is thick in this article.
What exactly is Russia doing? If they know STOP it right now. But this is coming from the extreme Trump
haters...CNN.

Trump didn’t do it in 2017. He denied there was a problem altogether. What makes you think it’s going to be different in 2020? Obama at least told Putin to “knock it off”.

But at least it’s nice to hear some Trump supporters admit that Russia had interfered, and it was not Ukraine.

Russia is with China now, things have changed.

What Trump is pissed about is that the so-called intel experts spun a story that Russia wants to help Trump....that is BS.....Russia is trying to stir the **** and weaken America, because the Future is the New Chinese Empire, of which Russia is now a close friend.

And watch how Deep State/Uniparty/The SWamp/The Failed Intelligentsia promote The New Chinese Empires agenda......

Blinded by Trump hate.

We are so screwed.

Pro tip: If a story is about President Trump's feelings, it's probably fake news.

Then I'm fine with just letting the lot of you act petty. So long as you don't try to intrude into a reasonable discussion with this trash, I really don't care.

I have to admit that it’s amazing that it’s taken him this long to finally put the intelligence community under the control of a stooge.

trump has now fired the Director of National Intelligence and his top deputy to prevent Intelligence agencies from revealing Russian interference for trump in 2020.

The acting DNI he's selected is a trump political loyalist described as 'an Internet troll for trump' who does not have one day of experience working in intelligence. Top officials being said being brought in include a longtime denier of Russian interference in 2016, and a Devin Nunes staffer. Our intelligence system is being corrupted all for trump to hide the truth to help his re-election.

You think the assessment from the USIC that a foreign power is interfering in our elections is just BS?

What source of information did you use to determine that the USIC doesn't know what hey're talking about on this subject?

Pro tip: If a story is about President Trump's feelings, it's probably fake news.

Nothing shows real feelings like firing the boss of the agency that brought the bad news, as required of them by law.

It was reported by WaPo, NYT, WSJ first so...

Of course Trump is angry, his buddy Putin said he didn't do it and he believes Putin over American intelligence agencies.

Putin told him personally in the morning talking points meeting...

I have a prediction. Leftists will stop fabricating **** about 'Russia' the day after the next democrat is elected president, whenever that is. In that moment, we will then go back to...

And it will stay that way til the next time the rat party needs a scapegoat and a baba yaga they know their followers will fall for.
