July 16, 2018, in Helsinki, Trump, in a stunning rebuke of the US intelligence community, declined to endorse the US government's assessment that Russia interfered in the 2016 presidential election, saying he doesn't "see any reason why" Russia would be responsible. Instead, Trump -- standing alongside Russian President Vladimir Putin -- touted Putin's vigorous denial.

"I have great confidence in my intelligence people, but I will tell you that President Putin was extremely strong and powerful in his denial today," Trump said during a joint news conference

The Times reports, "Intelligence officials warned House lawmakers last week that Russia was interfering in the 2020 campaign to try to get President Trump re-elected, five people familiar with the matter said, a disclosure to Congress that angered Mr. Trump, who complained that Democrats would use it against him.

"The day after the Feb. 13 briefing to lawmakers, Mr. Trump berated Joseph Maguire, the outgoing acting director of national intelligence, for allowing it to take place, people familiar with the exchange said. Mr. Trump cited the presence in the briefing of Representative Adam B. Schiff, the California Democrat who led the impeachment proceedings against him, as a particular irritant."

Apparently, Trump wanted to keep secret from the American people and its representatives the fact that Putin wants to help him get elected just as Putin did in 2016.

Some intelligence officials wanted the briefer to soften the message. However, "that intelligence official, Shelby Pierson, an aide to Mr. Maguire who has a reputation of delivering intelligence in somewhat blunt terms. The president announced on Wednesday that he was replacing Mr. Maguire with Richard Grenell, the ambassador to Germany and long an aggressively vocal Trump supporter," according to the Times.

Which, of course, is true to form. Replace an experienced professional with a political hack, a sycophant who thinks like Trump and will always do as he is told. This, of course, weakens the American government a little bit more.

That is another thing Putin likes about Trump.

Now that Russia is with the New Chinese Empire Putin wants America as weak as possible.

The Trump haters are advancing the Empires cause, and are almost too a man/woman/whatever too dim to know the great harm to America they are causing.

I am watching Trump's speech in Colorado. People pitched tents the day before in 12 degree weather just to make sure they got in.

I call them Trump Republicans because they are merely stooges for Trump. They have even given powers to Trump that were powers granted to Congress according to our Constitution, power of the purse, power to wage war.

Trump Republicans drove me out of the GOP. I changed my political affiliation to conservative Independent.
 
To he fair, Putin also endorsed Obama's reelection. Of course at that time, cons were screaming that it proved Ibsma wss a communist. So i expect those same people to start tslking about Trump being a communist. This is your cue.

That's an overstatement. Putin just didn't want to see Romney elected but he never came out and endorsed Obama's re-election. Putin's did an interview with RT state television, he called Obama an "honest man who really wants to change much for the better." This comment was widely viewed as Putin's most direct endorsement of Obama in the presidential race. If Putin really wanted to put his thumb on the scale for Obama, he would have helped him win like he helped Trump.

Ultimately while it will look like Trump has executed his Imperial Executive complete with succession plan, he will only end up being Putin's tool as will DonDon's successor after 2024, either Don Jr or Ivanka. By then Trump's disinformation apparatus will be very effective as will all the toadies he will have installed at DOJ, IC, Treasury etc etc. Trump will step down after two terms with Don Jr or Ivannka stepping up and rolling into the WH on another EC win aided by Disinformation blasted across the Internet and Fox News and out of the Administration itself.

Trump will end up controlling the means of finance through installing his hacks and thugs at Treasury, IRS and the Federal Reserve to go along with his takeover of DOJ via Barr. Putin will simply syphon off Billions of Dollars. The Trump's will take a huge cut. Trump toadies will be allowed to feed at will and Putin gets the rest.

Funny, we are going to end up easier to manipulate for Putin than Ukraine. Now that is a hell of a note isn't it! Manafort, Trump and Putin end up executing the exact same plan Manafort, Putin and Putin Oligarchs had for Ukraine only this time much more successfully.

Meanwhile a big cut of Americans will be anxiously awaiting Bernies's election on the hope that their college loan debt is relieved. They will continue to default on the absurd notion that a Bernie or Bernie like win is just around the corner along with all kinds of other free stuff. 1/10 is in default on their college loans now!
