I guarantee you he is aware of the reasons why we went the plutonium/uranium route.
Goalpost shift. I'm 100% on board with thorium, but when people talk about nuclear power without discussing what the fuel is, they mean uranium.

Please take COVID-19 seriously; don't panic but don't deny it; practice social distancing (stay 6ft from people); wash your hands a lot, don't touch your face, don't gather with too many people, so that you help us contain it. It's not a concern just for the elderly. If we allow our health care system to be overwhelmed, all age groups who might need all other care will suffer.

Can Sanders beat Trump? Yes, he could. Will he? That's very questionable, even if he becomes the last one standing.

Sanders would absolutely win in 2008, when the economy was crashing. But people are happy with the economy now, like it or not. They're scared of going back to 2008, and unless there's an economic slowdown between now and November, it would be very hard for Sanders to win, and I suspect his margins with Boomers would be awful, so as to offset any minor uptick in youth turnout.

Sorry to say it, but I still see that scenario.

The losers tonight were the Democratic Party elites. They thought Bloomberg was the smoking gun that will keep Sanders from the eventual nomination. He was their choice because Biden is so weak and lousy at campaigning. But Bloomberg bombed. And after tonight all those ads people have been watching telling Bloomberg is so great exposed him tonight.

Bernie was the winner. Why? because he is the only one in that lane proud to call himself a Democratic Socialist while the rest running left of center have a traffic jam of candidates dividing the votes in the other lane even though many of their policy proposals are not that far from Bernie's. Especially Warren. And it doesn't appear that anyone of them are willing to get out at this time so Bernie sails on. I believe he will be the winner of the primary at this time.

But the Democratic elites are right to be concerned because if Bernie gets the nomination it will be a massacre of Democrats down ballot in places they need to carry.

Tonight two Democratic pundits Mark Penn and Douglas Schoen, two analysts that supported Hillary Clinton said tonight Trump was the winner

Not mentioned much here is the separate votes for delegates, and with whom they’re aligned with. My CD has 4 delegates.

You guys must be having a great time, especially playing operation chaos voting in Dem primaries.

Yep, if you look at the national polls Bernie can win the nation's popular vote, just like Hillary did, then crash and burn in the swing states where trump won the Electoral College in 2016. It's in these states that Biden is currently ahead of trump in the polls. This is where it will count, my friend. As we learned in 2010, the national popular vote means nothing when people in Wisconsin and Pennsylvania can determine the outcome in the E.C.

Bernie is the best politician in the country, and his support will increase as he becomes the nominee and president.
If Bernie increases his support substantially, i.e. to 45%+, then sure. But if he does not...

In 2 weeks, 67% of delegates will be distributed with 4-5 people other that Bernie still being on the ballot. That's a lot of split votes IMO... Even if a couple drop out after, there will still likely be 2 or even 3 non-Bernie ones competing for another 20% of delegates before anyone else drops out. I expect dropouts to be slow ESPECIALLY because the brokered convention scenario is going to be the MOST likely outcome.

Considering political instincts like these lead to the Democrats losing everything in 2016, forgive me if I find your statements to be skeptical at best.
Democrats need to realize that "Bernie or Bust" is already a compromise position.

Not to mention that, prior to Mike Bloomberg, Wall Street was maybe not dependent on the old ticker tape machines but it was not very far removed.
Let's be fair to Bloomberg from a technical standpoint. The man IS a tech genius when it comes to market trading. He invented "The Bloomberg Terminal". Between him and Thomson-Reuters, they invented high speed computerized trading.

Of course, along WITH all that speed came some pretty terrifying unintended consequences, too numerous to get into without hijacking the subject of the thread but let's just say that computerized high speed trading and the algorithms that make it tick have drastically changed the nature of the global stock market.
