Like nearly all presidents, Trump seems keen to dole out pardons based on ¢ronyi$m, but how awesome would it be if he humiliated Bloomberg by doing this?

It would be a triple win:

1) Justice will be served

2) Bloomberg will be disgraced

3) Democrats will be disgraced as they shriek at Trump for doing the right thing/undoing racist police action

It would be triple-sweet, right?

Trump would need to find people who faced federal punishment as an end result of Bloomberg's racist policies, but I'm sure it can be done.

Maybe but he won't since they are not his friends and won't pay him back through donations to his campaign and his businesses.

Your point that Trump's pardons are based on cronyism is a direct hit.

Sleazy politicians do not live by donations alone.

The optics of this would be PRICELESS.

A true win/win/win.

:)

Of course.

Just substitute Obama or Bush II or Clinton (ESPECIALLY Clinton!) or nearly any president & it's the same.

Politicians = Monumentally sleazy

Easter is right around the corner. Keep those wishes in your Easter basket. Sometimes dreams come true.

What makes you sure that Bloomberg's NYPD stop, question and frisk policy had a hand in any federal prosecutions? The issue of Terry stops is likely to remain controversial and should not be used, as Bloomberg wished to do, to simply lower the standards for any and all warrantless police searches - especially when based on race, ethnicity or, its close cousin, zip-codes.

On this day, a win for ‘stop and frisk’ - National Constitution Center

I give you kudos for creative thinking, here.

Neither possession nor a gun should be a crime in the first place. Still, we might wanna consider what a person was busted for before throwing it out on 'stop and frisk'. Obviously the simple possession people get out.

Those are state charges, so he can't pardon any of them.

Nothing makes me SURE on the federal, but I'm guessing that can find some folks who ended up federally prosecuted as an end result of S/F.

Bye-bye Bloomie.

I'm sure that the minority victims of police over-reach is really a priority for this President...

More so than with Obama it would seem.
