The pieces are starting to come together.

These are the 5 biggest bombshells from The New York Times' report on Trump's money and Deutsche Bank | Markets Insider

After the junk bond sale, Trump looked to the firm's commercial real estate division to finance his Chicago tower. He reportedly flew the bankers, who included the son of Supreme Court Justice Anthony Kennedy, in the same Boeing jet that he used to send the other team to Florida. Trump then invited the bankers to Trump Tower, showered them in praise, and noted that Ivanka would lead the Chicago project, according to The Times. The deal went through.

Against the ambient level of corruption in America....WHO CARES.

And this is how the right dismisses trump's corruption. Heck everyone else is corrupt so why not trump?

Who after all doesn't want a corrupt president?

Trump has lied and deceived any and everyone who he thought he could profit from.

Heck he lied to build trump tower. He lied to the city and he lied to the bank loaning him the money.

Who cares if trump goes bankrupt and loses others monies?

A con man is who the right supports.

Trump follows the rules that everyone else does, not the rules that they claim they follow, but the rules that they actually follow.

Trump believes in fairness, in equality.....he sees no reason to put himself at a disadvantage that no one else does.

TRUMP IS NOT A CHUMP!

No he isn't, can't say the same for the people who support him. Millions have bought into the con man's scheme. Nice.

Trump has never done wrong by me, this guy is practically a Boy Scout, he has been the most honest guy to come down the pike in a long while....very refreshing!

Sounds to me like the bank got just as much value out of their dealings with Trump as Trump got out of them...except for that one disagreement that they worked out. I don't see anything particularly remarkable...all pretty normal stuff that goes on between businesses...and I certainly don't see anything illegal.

Seriously calamity, it looks like you are taking dud firecrackers and claiming that they are bombshells.

I believe repaying loans is among the rules of lending. Remind us when Trump repaid the $2 billion (and counting), to Deutsche Bank.

Not familiar with the rules of bankruptcy are you?

you have to realize that these people will never actually discuss facts.
they will just play their stupid obtuse game.

they have run off the cliff and are still falling.

What theft and fraud would that be?

'Misappropriating' (stealing), charity funds, and conning trusting Americans with a fraudulent 'university', perhaps? Of the former the court said Trump exhibited, "a shocking pattern of financial illegality", before ordering the 'foundation' to close down and fining Trump $3 million. Of the latter Trump had to pay out $25 million in restitution ("I never settle cases"). So, no illegality, no theft, no fraud. Right? As far as Trump, (who has no respect for the law whatsoever), is concerned, all was above board and perfectly legal.

Trump University settlement finalized by judge at $25 million

He was never convicted of any such thing, therefore, by the Left's standards, it never happened.

Never convicted? No, because the sleaze settled out of court to avoid a trial, just as he did in the race discrimination case. Why would an innocent man pay out $25 million? Was he feeling especially generous that day? As far as the 'foundation' is concerned the judge called Trump's actions, including the theft of $3 millions in charity donations, "a shocking pattern of illegality". Note the last word. It happened, but by all means keep denying it if it makes you feel better. The rest of us aren't as gullible or delusional.

That's a civil trial, not a criminal trial. Trump has never been convicted, or even charged with theft, or fraud.

So what? Theft and fraud don't change just because he wasn't convicted. He was ordered to settle in one case, and fined in another. He doesn't get a pass, sorry.
