Low IQ & Conservative Beliefs Linked to Prejudice

"There are multiple examples of very bright conservatives and not-so-bright liberals, and many examples of very principled conservatives and very intolerant liberals," Hodson said.

Nosek gave another example to illustrate the dangers of taking the findings too literally.

"We can say definitively men are taller than women on average," he said. "But you can't say if you take a random man and you take a random woman that the man is going to be taller. There's plenty of overlap."

People are individuals. Thus there are some intelligent social conservatives and bigots. However, social conservatives and bigots are on average less intelligent. Though I am not sure why anyone would need a study to know that.

LOL, yup.

But sometimes it helps to understand why some people hold certain less than constructive opinions. That is, if one wishes to see them change their minds.
 
I am so tired of this crap that somehow conservative thinkers are racist and bigoted and have a low IQ. The truth is like the Constitution keeps getting in way of the left so do conservatives from achieving their goal. They both are the brakes that keep the left from transforming this country into something it was never meant to be.

All that gets in the way of UTOPIA is to be either reformed or eliminated, by any means at the Lefts disposal.

And the Constitution is already extremely weak, that will not help us much.

Only the people rising in Rebellion against the Elite can save us.

The ideas of their Utopia is being exposed. Like all those promises they keep making to the masses from free this and that comes clutched in an iron fist. The biggest problem we have right now is our dishonest media.
 
There are various reasons for taking the label "conservative." I sometimes call myself conservative simply because I strongly disagree with certain liberal/progressive ideas. And because I agree with certain typically conservative ideas.

Some ideas that are considered conservative now are typical of people who are less educated, live in isolated areas, and don't read. Such as racism or homophobia.

But I really doubt that libertarian ideas correlate with low IQ.

Keep in mind that almost all academic researchers are liberal/progressive. So this kind of research is almost guaranteed to be slanted.

YES! Fake research is a very big problem. It is so easy to make supposedly scientific research turn out however you want it to. It might not even be intentional.
