That makes it better how? The pastor was endorsing a quote which would put Mr. Buttigieg to death. And this is what the cons on here are defending.

Actually most people know what is in the bible and do not follow passages which are out of date and promote violence and hatred.

Do you obey all of Leviticus equally or do you just pick and choose the parts that support your biases as a way to hide your bigotry behind the religious protections of the First Amendment? When was the last time that you opposed someone for eating bacon, shrimp or a cheeseburger? Are all of your clothes made out of only one fabric as Leviticus demands? Do you protest in front of the barbershop and tattoo parlors because of the commands in Leviticus?

That is an astonishing case of self-victimization that promotes a person's right to hate another person based on his inherent identity over that person's right to live a life fulfilled within that identity. This guy wants to compare the marginalization of anti-gay Christians with LGBTQ people.

Fortunately that is not part of the Constitution or the law. The Bible was also used to justify anti miscegenation laws and slavery. I'll pass on what the Bible says.

All real Christians understand that we are all deserving of death. That is the whole point of Jesus as savior.

Fake Christians preach that there are "big sins" and "little sins" and this is simply contrary to what Jesus taught. I refer you to Luke 18 starting at verse 9.

1. Ye without sin cast the first stone

2. Do unto others as you would have done to you

3. Do not pray in public like the hypocrites but, rather, do so privately

4. Rich people are ****ed.

Most US Christians violate all four of these edicts religiously.

Actually, you have posted no basis for making that claim. You have no idea what 'most' Christians do. You are extrapolating from your observations of a very small group of a vocal minority who have politicized their religion.
