Yet I begrudgingly voted for Clinton in 2016 and we still lost because of people like you who argue it doesn't matter who the Dems nominate. You don't get to blame this on me. This is 100% Hillary's fault.

what? She got more votes and a bunch of democrats either stayed home or fell in love with the mafia guy.

Just watch. Swing voters will stay home or vote for Trump if Bernie is the nominee.

Bloomberg can actually stop Trump and get that mafia out of the White House. As it looks now Bernie may get the nomination and Trump gets 4 more years and then turns his family into a Bush like dynasty. His daughter will probably be president next and all the commons will be sold off, all the safety nets will be gone and money will be continually funneled up. All because of this crazy Democratic purity test.

Don't say I didn't warn you guys.

My views:

Bernie sucks and stands zero chance of winning a general.

Warren is pretty good, but she has the whole woman thing working against her (misogyny rules). Also, she is perceived as too liberal.

Amy is probably the strongest candidate on the merits. But, she is from a small state with no real political chops--plus, misogyny rules apply.

Pete is good but even worse than Amy in the "small state with no chops" category. Plus, he has that whole gay thing working against him. Let's face it. There is no way a gay guy is winning the general election in the USA in 2020. Zero.

So...who beats Trump, hands down? Mike.

I want a candidate that best represents my views and policies I want to see implemented. Doing otherwise has lead us to electing people into positions of power without my interests in mind. It's not my job to like a candidate, it's the candidate's job to make me like them, and as it stands, I don't like racist sexual predators. It's one of the reasons why I didn't vote for Trump.

Getting the most votes means nothing in our system. You win with the electoral college. Bloomberg will not motivate the average working class American to show up to the polls. You can try to blame that on everyone else but it changes nothing.

remind me of all that on election night as Trump is broadcast all over the globe as he celebrates Goldwater like landslide W over Bernie and uses his second term to sell off the commons, setup his kids to run and get laws passed to favor business over people.

and, of course, put 8 years worth of judges in place to rule over you the rest of your life.

i'm not sure that Bloomberg even wanted to run. i think he's like me and was sitting home and realized that there is not a D candidate that can unseat the mafia dude on Pennsylvania Avenue.

Anyone can win. If nothing else, Donald Trump has proven that.

I hate Michael Bloomberg. I got my start working in politics working against him. I spent hundreds of hours working for people who ran against him for mayor, in two separate elections.

I will clench my teeth and vote for him, if he makes it to the general and I have to. But I will not accept that he is the only path to victory, and he is the last person I would vote for in the primary.

No acting needed. Trump's win was absolutely special. Trump, a political novice who had held no public office came along and defeated the most politically connected establishment politician on the planet. And it was not Hillary's gender that lost it for her. It was her inability to connect with voters.

Ok, now I am definitely convinced that Bloomberg is deliberately trying to sabotage the Democratic party’s chances at winning if he is serious in who he wants as running mate.

You really want to ignore gender? Hillary sucked and she still won the popular vote. Obviously she made huge mistake by not campaigning in Wisconsin, NC and treading through PA.

Trump won the race to the bottom. Oh boy!!!!!
