Trump is anti-democracy, hates US allies, loves dictators

Trump is one man. The difference is he is not compliant. Government has been growing exponentially with deep state careerist in control for decades and expect their president of either party to be a figurehead.

Trump does not do figurehead. Trump has been in government for 3 years bringing in many others serving government for the first time. He didn't bring corruption he has exposed it.

Then the senate by its Republican Party vote rejecting the articles of impeachment showed that the Republican Party has become what we fought against throughout the 20th century. And that's with your cherry on top.

The odds on Mr. Trump being the President of the United States of America BEYOND 2021 haven't been calculated yet, so I'm not taking any bets on that.

I propose that anyone who wants to take me up on the offer above, send their money to the mods to hold in trust pending developments.

Not if he resigns one hour before his term ends and President Pence issues a Presidential Pardon before taking up his $10,000,000 a year position (on a 10 year, "no cut, no trade" contract) as Chief Executive Advisor to the Chairman of the Board of Trump Winery (a position for which he is eminently well qualified due to his knowledge of sacramental wine).

So what. The sillies don't get the DAs in the states of NY, NJ, and FL have everything the DOJ has, and those states can charge Trump despite any federal pardons.

I hope they do. A federal pardon is a small price to pay for the utter wipeout of Republicans it would cause.
