Barr corrupting every trump-related DoJ prosecution - Rachel explains well

The fact that you disagree with a Stanford grad, a Rhodes scholar with a Ph.D. in public policy doesn't mean that she is wrong because you are almost always wrong in your claims. Reading your posts is like telling the wind direction by looking at the tail end of a weather vane.

Does the fact that she is openly lesbian bother you?

Rachel has quite the resume, but she still lacks good sense, good morals, good values, good judgment and good motivations.

Do you have any examples to prove your claims?

Wait...you think ordering a review of a bunch of cases prosecuted by Muellers hand picked team of rat party and Clinton supporters is a BAD thing?

Have you forgotten? Republicans believe in alternative facts.

We shouldn't really use their euphamism for lies. Like the way they lie about which news is 'fake news'. Or which investigations are 'witch hunts', and so on.

Rachel probably does not realize it but her biased opinions are wrong and undermine the very foundations of good society.

I well know her roots are at Castro Valley, CA. The home of liars and nonconstitutional believers. She is their source?

Never been indicted......exactly.

Are you this ignorant of the law?

You cannot indict when there is no evidence of wrongdoing. She didn't do anything illegal and if you are going to indict someone you need to prove evidence that they willfully committed a crime.

A State Department investigation into former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s private email account found no widespread effort by her aides or other staffers to mishandle classified information.

The DOJ is not be used as a weapon to harass Trump's enemies or to allow his friends and colleagues to get a pass on their crimes because Trump or Barr decides to put their finger on the scales of justice in an attempt to influence or subvert the outcome.

The ABA felt necessary to speak about AG Barr's influience in the Roger Stone case.

9 senators call for attorney general's resignation after DOJ intervenes in Roger Stone's sentencing

Nine? In any other administration, it would be closer to 90. Unbelievable blind, deaf and dumb, our current crop of senators.

Actually, that's wrong. It's just that trump hasn't been able to corrupt things *enough* yet. Look at Governor Don Siegelman for an example of how it's done - he did nothing wrong, but Karl Rove was able to put him in prison for several years, conspiring with the US Attorney to prosecute him, who was the wife of the Republican candidate Siegelman had defeated...

Rachel - the Queen of Irrelevancy. :lamo

ORLY? Is that why she had the highest-rated show in her time slot?

Rachel Maddow’s interview with Lev Parnas, the former associate of Rudy Giuliani who has emerged as a central figure in the impeachment trial of President Trump, was a huge hit with viewers, giving MSNBC’s star prime time host two of her highest-rated nights in the history of The Rachel Maddow Show.

The first night of the exclusive interview was Maddow’s highest-rated night ever, followed by the second part of the interview which aired Thursday night, when Maddow drew a total audience of 4.3 million viewers—the largest audience in cable on the night and Maddow’s third-highest rating ever—and put Maddow far ahead of her cable news competition: Fox News finished second in the 9 p.m. ET hour usually won by Sean Hannity, with 3.86 million viewers.

Among viewers 25-54, the demographic group most valued by advertisers, Maddow’s show on Thursday evening drew 745,000 viewers, well ahead of Fox News’ Hannity (621,000) and CNN’s Cuomo Prime Time (375,000).

In any normal Congress with morals and a spine, there would have been enough support for a bipartisan censure of Barr and the judicial committee asking for his resignation.

Rachel lays out how now every trump related DoJ investigation and prosecution has him interfering, ordering changes, putting hand-picked people to second-guess prosecutors, adding a political layer of oversight. The DoJ is fully corrupted at the top.

Rule of law already broken where it involves Trump

LOL...oh we do love "spin" based on unsupported conjecture and fanciful narratives, don't we? EVEN without knowing the personal histories or party affiliation of those assigned as either "career" federal district attorneys or as DOJ reviewers has it ever occurred to you that it could be more than overdue?

Or have you forgotten the horrible partisan travesty uncovered in the Senator Steven's case, after he was convicted and deposed from office? Or maybe you were never made aware of the unanimous Supreme Court vote overturning the conviction of Republican Bob McDonnell because the federal prosecutors had absurdly argued that the term “official act” could encompass any activity, in any context, for any purpose by a public official concerning any subject, including providing or listening to an opinion on a broad policy.

For anyone who has bothered to investigate the widespread prosecutorial and investigative misconduct and overreach in the US, at both federal and state level, its more than warranted and overdue for second opinions be obtained from other professionals before someone's life is ruined.

Mind you, as I am sure you know, the strong majority of attorneys are Democrats, perhaps even more so for those working for the Federal Government to impose the power of the state upon individuals liberty, rightly or wrongly. Hence, Barr's actions are far more justified as the likelihood of unjust and unfair prosecution of those on the right based on political partisanship will, by definition, be more prevalent among district prosecutors.

Yes...Yes...we all understand Maddow's wailing about how these "men of virtue" should be left unaccountable and unchecked in their power...most being democrats working on behalf of centralized power. But really, it does not require you to parrot her terror at second opinions.

Clearly she and liberaldom is threatened but the questioning of the deep, dark, and very liberal state.

I will be on both sides, I will be pointing out it is the fault that conservatives set the precedent, however I would fully support impeachment and removal of anyone who has do e the things trump has done.

Hello he should have been removed right after the Mueller report.

Collusion may not be a crime but it sure as **** proves be is an illegitimate president...

Yeah, I definitely don't want a left wing version of Punkinhead doing idiotic things and embarrassing the country even if it pisses off Tweetycult.

Actually we are talking about equal application of the law. Hillary was given a pass. Had she been treated like Flynn, Manafort or Stone she would die in prison.

Is this the same Rachel who lied everyday for 2 year plus about the phony Russian story?
She despises the president!

MSNBC PRESENTATOR ANNOUNCING THAT TRUMP IS THE NEW PRESIDENT
Just after Trump won the election!! ;)

Again just because YOU think what they're doing is wrong, that doesn't make it so. You guys make your judgements on how it will effect Trump rather than if it's lawful and legal. It's a sickness, a derangement.

Have to completely agree with you. Most anything Trump does they are screaming impeach him. Off the crazy scale. :peace

Oh my 9, count-em 9 Democratic senators want Barr to resign? Hilarious stuff!
But these are same people who tried and fail to impeach the president. Fail, fail, fail!
Landslide for Trump coming in 2020 election.

I don't think I need to bother with your posts, but she didn't tell one lie.

She despises the president!

Which is the right thing to do, while she tells the truth abut him.

False as usual. Multiple things trump has done deserve impeachment. 99% of what he does that's wrong, Democrats do not call for impeachment for.

Not sure what you mean.

In May, the State Department's Office of the Inspector General released a report about the State Department's email practices, including Clinton's. In July, FBI director James Comey announced that the FBI investigation had concluded that Clinton had been "extremely careless" but recommended that no charges be filed.--https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hillary_Clinton_email_controversy

I encourage you to reread the OP. This is projection. Hillary would be in jail if Obama didn't do what the OP charges Trump. Obama had a self proclaimed wingman at AG.

I know, it's like they've regressed to childhood and their parents have told them "you better behave or the Orange Man will get you". And most of the things they complain about are things they made up or stuff still bouncing around in their echo chamber. And they accuse the conservatives/libertarians of being the cult.

Since you didn't include a source I have no way of verifying it. The numbers cited, however, show almost a quarter of a million viewers were watching something else.
