Democrats are all about fairness in taxation policies, but they have had some major failures in enforcement which now makes them appear to be purely partisan in dealing with tax cheats. They know how to throw the book at a commentator who pokes fun at their misguided witch hunt investigations which turn up no evidence of criminal behavior in the individual who is the focus of their investigation, but they do not know how to jail democrat tax cheats. Here are some interesting figures:

Martha Stewart: $220,000 in unpaid taxes - 18 months sentence.

Al Capone: $150,000 unpaid taxes - 11 years prison sentence.

Leona Helmsley: $1.2 million unpaid taxes - 19 months sentence.

Timothy Geithner: $43,700 unpaid taxes - no harm, no foul, and no jail time.

Rev. Al Sharpton: $4.5 million unpaid taxes - no harm, no foul, and no jail time.

Democrats are apoplectic over Trump recommending a lighter sentence for Stone who was convicted by biased prosecutors of obstructing a fake investigation, and yet they remain in lockstep approval of Obama's turning a blind eye to Sharpton's tax cheating.

Did her time, never ran for office.

Did his time, died in 1947, never ran for office.

Did her time, died in 2007, never ran for office.

He paid his taxes back after his error. If you feel that he deserves jail time then you are more than willing to press the charges yourself.

Rev. Al Sharpton: $4.5 million unpaid taxes - no harm, no foul, and no jail time.

Pled guilty to a misdemeanor offense in 1993. If he deserves more non-racially-motivated justice against him then so be it.

Why is it that you Trump supporters, especially conservative Christians, are always refusing to take responsibility for one of your own? I thought your ilk demanded personal responsibility.

Seems that y'all are not like Christ, but the Pharisees. "Rules for thee, but not for me."

New democrat doctrine for democrats: IF the democrat tax cheat gets caught cheating on his taxes, then don't send him to jail like other common criminal tax cheats. Give him plenty of time to pay the money back and don't charge him, because he intends to pay it back. But, IF the democrat tax cheat does not get caught then it is nobody's business and he will be allowed to keep the money as if it is a gift from God.

And there's the exact deflection that I just described. Why do you people love to preach "personal responsibility" while never holding your own accountable? Why, when you have a crook in the White House, do you refuse to bring him to justice? Why does your ilk love what you would have despised if Obama had done any of it?

I would support Trump being held accountable for committing real crimes, if only someone would come up with one he could be charged with instead of all the crap false allegations.

Like I said. It's not as if there haven't been literally thousands of posts around here that explained that very thing in simple English.

Every allegation later proven to be false raises the bar to be credible for the next allegation.

If Trump has committed dozens of crimes then we must admit America has some serious problems with corruption in its law enforcement and judicial systems because he has never been charged for those crimes.

Democrats must think the more the democrat allegations are proven false the more credible they become. I disagree.
