Lawless President Raises Fears of a Lawless DOJ

The fish rots from the head. It seems the process accelerates every time Congress fails to nail him. It's quite amazing to watch.

As a prosecutor, if you seek decades of prison time for jaywalking, you should feel some pressure to match sentencing to the seriousness of the crime. If a prosecutor is fearful that such excesses will be corrected, that prosecutor should find a different profession.

These prosecutorial excesses were highlighted during Murller. It's past time to end them.

For a couple of hundred years Americans thought there was no way 1 branch of our government can get too powerful. We believed with 3 equally powerful branches 2 would always prevent 1 from getting too powerful.

1 good thing about Trump and his cult is that we now KNOW that system and belief is very flawed. Congress is scared to death of him, and over the years the Republicans have stacked the judicial with cronies. Even some DoJ prosecutors are now admitting their are afraid of Trump and his hit men.

Trump is the boss now, over all 3 branches.

This country is in trouble.

Was Stone convicted of jaywalking?

The fears being raised by leftists is justified.

When DJT is reelected, there very well may be many Deep Staters/leftists heads roll.

Good, very good.

Time to reign in the DoJ

Stone should never have been indicted

I agree actually, that Stone should not have been indicted, and I agree that Trump was framed for the impeachment.

That said, Trump is a deranged demagogue and a crook.

The country is now reaping what it has sown by electing Trump.

On the scale of criminal wrong doing, his crimes are relatively minor. Rapists receive lighter sentences.

Do you know what Stone was convicted of?
