Worthless and Unprincipled People Now the Norm!

It has been proven all of your arguments come around to being "because i say so". just like your argument
here. you are basically attempting to pass your opinion off as fact. basically it is nothing more than 1 huge
projection and circular logic fallacy.

Again, just empty words you use. C'mon, show specific examples of what I am saying about Trump that I am not backing up with facts.

Otherwise, get off your high horse and stop this BS you are spewing. My 2-year old grandson complains bitterly about what his parents are making do and yet he is wrong and they are right. You are acting the same way, given you complain but your complaints are not based on anything other than you think you are right.

Yes you are using empty words.
It is not my job to prove your argument. that is your job. now we have a shifting the burden fallacy.

Your last sentence is nothing but a hypocritical projection.
you are the one that started the thread with a 4k post rant and complaint.

nothing to support it and you still haven't. it is just one huge logical fallacy after another.

then you do what you always do when challenged. blame the other person for your failure
to post a logical argument supported by facts and logic.

You are the one complaining and griping here no one else is.

You are wrong again (as is the case 99.9% of the time).

The OP is an opinion piece and opinions do not have to be proven as they are right for the person that wrote it.

You are the one that attacked the OP and said that the opinion is not supported by fact and that it is just venting and I said that I could prove my opinion is correct but since there are so many things that can prove my opinion, you need to be specific as to some example so that I can disprove it within the boundaries that the debate board has (5000 letter max). Since you are the one that is attacking the OP (an opinion piece) as being incorrect, it is you that has to prove the opinion is incorrect.

I know I am right and you are wrong and there is no reason I have to prove it to you, who is one of the people that I consider to be a minion of Trump. I clearly stated in the OP that minions of Trump do not think or reason, just follow the leader.

If you can find who you are, and not just a servant, then make your point and debate. I do not need to prove to myself that I am right and much less prove it to a minion of Trump.

Throughout our over-200-year existence of the United States, honor, principles, courage, and betterment-of-ourselves as people has been the norm.

We always fought corruption, we always led with law and justice being the stalwart we used, and we offered an open hand to all in the world to come here to seek better lives and get away from dictators and oppression. We were the "shining star" in a world where much blackness existed.

We were the best of the best and the standard of what everyone in the world should strive for.

There are countless stories of people giving up their lives defending who we were and sacrificing everything to support the standards that we lived by.

That is now being destroyed more and more by this president and his minions. There is no Republican in the Senate, other than Romney, that has the courage and respect for the vows of office to stand up and stop the destruction of the systems that our forefathers worked so hard to implement. There is no Republican in any position of power anymore that has the principles and desire to do what is right and to defend their nation from corruption, which is now in the open and saying to us all "so what, try to stop us! You can't and you don't have the guts to even try"

There are now close to 63 million Trump supporters that are also willing to give up everything this nation has stood for and whose parents, grandparents, and great grandparents worked for to achieve, They have lost their own personalities to follow a false God that has promised to "Make America Great Again" (MAGA) but who is actually "Making America Lose Everything" (MALE) that we have been in the past.

It is clearly a fight between the best in us and the worst in us and right now the worst in us is winning.

We don't need a savior as that means depending on someone else other than in ourselves. For example, many think that Trump is their savior and that is making things worse (not better) as he is taking us down an abyss from which we will not come back from. What we need to do is for each of us to look inside and find our better selves and rise to stand up for who we are and not for what one person wants us to be for his own benefit.

Wake up and look and stop believing what you hear. In this respect, you need to listen to your Idol who has said this to you since he was elected. Look at how you personally would like to be treated and what you personally stand for and decide if this is what you want to be known for when you die. Whether you have done what God brought you to this earth to do. Look down and deep inside and decide who you are and represent and have the courage to stand up for yourself and not stand up for a false God that only thinks of himself.

Stop making excuses for him and stand up for yourself and if what he does is what you represent, then have the guts to say so.
Lucky I want to offer you some constructive criticism. I dont see things the way you do I do believe you speak from a place of ernesty.
The problem I have is with how you construct your position. Its impossible to debate because its a string of hyperbolic platitudes.
If you actually explained what things Trump is doing in specific terms, we could debate the pros and cons.
The way your going about it there is no toom for any discussion.

Love it. These diatribes from leftists are good for the nation's soul.

Thanks for your post. It makes sense. The reason why I put this OP up was not so much to generate debate but to have people think about what they are doing personally and what they personally can do about it.

I did not expect so many posts.

What you state is something I normally do and have done on many occasions. I generally do not put up opinion pieces but specific criticism as to what Trump has done.

To be brutally honest with you, what make me put this OP up today was yesterday's action by Trump in convincing Barr to change the existing guidelines for punishment in the case of Roger Stone.

Arguing that this is wrong is ridiculous since it is 100% wrong. Those guidelines have been in place for decades (if not longer) and were decided because 1000's of cases from the past have been used to come up with them. To change them they need to be discussed with Congress and with the Justice department and then with the Supreme Court before being changed and not just changed because a friend of Trump is being punished by them and "he does not like it". It undermines everything we are and have been, which is a system of justice, Constitutional mandates and law.

When we begin to change those laws because of one's persons wants and desires we are destroying what we are all about. In addition, it is supporting corruption in the open, which is also what we have always been against.

Nonetheless, that is not even a debate topic as it is 100% wrong any way you look at it, so I thought I would come up with an OP that makes us look inside of ourselves as to what it is that we each believe in and what we are are willing to support or not and to do that we need to be introspective of our beliefs. We need to establish who we are and what we believe in before we can even begin to debate issues. If we cannot stand up for our own beliefs, how can we stand up for or against anything.

Well, you made the allegation that people you disagree with are worthless and you wonder why your OP is being attacked? In my opinions, you’re nothing more or better than what you claim others are. Clean out that log in your own eye Joyless Judgment Boy.

I don't have the ability to write in one post everything that Trump is guilty of, especially considering that posts here have a 5000 letter minimum. Nonetheless, if you supply some "specific" action of Trump (whatever you choose), I will gladly tear it down to its roots.

your claim ... your obligation.

Love it. These diatribes from leftists are good for the nation's soul.

I agree they are good (and necessary) for the nation's soul but I disagree with it being a diatribe from a leftist. This is what all humans need to support, They are general guidelines for people and not for parties. This is not a leftist appeal but an appeal from God and his teachings, without any party having ownership of it,

That is what they teach us in school, but that is not how we do it in reality.

Lofty ideals are presented in the indoctrination that is school, but reality bites as they say.

The sleazier side of reality and human behavior may be embodied by DJT, but he did not begin it.

No, I did not say that people that disagree with me are worthless, what I said is that people that do not have their own guidelines for their being and are faithful to the vows they gave (which not forced to give) are worthless.

One question since you are so willing to criticize the OP. Tell me what about the OP (other than my opinion of what is worthless or not) do you disagree with?

You do not agree that each of us should have our own guidelines and be faithful to them?
You do not agree that we should not necessarily support one person if we do not believe personally in things he stands for and if we do personally believe in those things that we should have the guts to state so?
You do not believe that morals, ethics, principles, humanity, respect, and love is what we should all have?

Criticize the points of the OP specifically and not what my own evaluation of what those points mean to me.

You are right, but then again, should we support it simply because it is who we are? Are we not supposed to attempt to be better than what we have been in the past? Should be just accept what is, and not try to make it better? That is what our forefathers did, are we not supposed to try to do the same?

Oh really?

So if your leader kills someone without reason and you give him a "pass"on it, it does not make you into someone that is abetting the crime?

I see this thread is going well....

Stop making excuses for him and stand up for yourself and if what he does is what you represent, then have the guts to say so.

Well, my excuise for voting for him is that he will do less damage to this nation than Hillary would have.

How about you guys stop making excuses for her. And those of you who actually like her...

OMG....

To get rid of all MALE (Make America Lose Everything) ideals that Trump is implementing.

Please don't make me defend him, but you are flat out wrong.

Industry is returning to the USA. It is president Clinton that signed countless trade agreements that had our industry move away from America. "MALE" was a president Clinton implementation. We lost so many jobs here, and now it's hard to find thing Made in the USA. It's all China, Indonesia, and other cheap labor countries.

President Clinton was corporate America CEO's best friend, lining their pockets with high profits from cheap labor, and in counties with little or no environmental regulations.

Your vote is fear-based. Big surprise.

Your vote is fear-based. Big surprise.

Believe as you wish.

President Hillary I think would have had us bombing the Middle East and cause them to step up their terrorism on us.

Fear? Maybe so, but with good cause.

Well, if we are being honest, I did not like her either but opposite to you, I was convinced then (and even more now) that she was less of a problem to the nation than Trump.

and by the way, I did not vote in 2016 and I personally have made no excuses for her. Lets get that perfectly clear.

Economically we are better off, of course with the caveat that the rich are MUCH BETTER OFF than the rest of the nation. Then again, economics is not my number one goal in life (as my avatar below says) and that means that the benefit he has brought is not a benefit that helps me personally. On the other side of the coin, the negatives he has brought to everything else that is not economics, far surpasses the good things. Meaning that to me, he has been a horrible president. I was much, much, much happier with Obama than with Trump.
