The true colors have come out on the democrats....for years and years they have been in hiding, behind closed doors, putting on a front, but now with the election of Trump, their true colors are showing.....and it's not a pretty sight to behold....that is what this congress will be remembered for....the "light" that was shed upon the leftists.

I would've loved to be a fly on the wall - watching tv with Biden - as the networks endlessly talked about the impeachment unfolding.

Impeachment did not hurt Biden in the slightest.

There is a bigger discussion to be had, but it would be better to see the results of Nevada and South Carolina towards the end of February to know for sure what was ultimately responsible for harming Biden's 2020 efforts.

My suspicion is a combination of errors made by various Democrats.

Not only did they not learn much from 2016 watching the DNC handling Sanders vs. Buttigieg in Iowa, but they seemed to be doubling down on altering the rules for a rich white guy. I do not see much of a path for unity within the party and I would argue that harms Biden the most.

Biden and corruption... unsure if he is some standout or just another example of the rule up on the hill these days.

What Biden did with Ukraine back then was something that had international support, most European nations including the EU, and even various organizations with dealings in Ukraine. How things were being handled in Ukraine was corrupt to the hills and back, with Russia closely watching every move made. The whole effort was dicey and whom benefited is always suspect, but ultimately what *did not happen* was Biden gaining political advantage at home asking a foreign nation to investigate a rival. Trump gets to own that level of corruption no matter how Republicans and right leaning pundits spin that story as if Trump is some saint. He clearly is not.

What I am also seeing is Biden being put in a similar light as Hillary back in 2016, someone who acts as if they are due the presidency bringing along with enough baggage that anyone Democrat in a primary or Republican in a general can exploit at anytime.

I am back to my conclusion I have maintained for months now, Democrats refuse to learn from 2016 and odds are it will mean a 2nd term for Trump.

I hope I am very wrong, but the indications say otherwise.

Democrats in New Hampshire were not impressed by Donald Trump's attempt to smear Joe Biden by enlisting the help of Ukraine's president. Joe Biden was rejected by Democrats in New Hampshire because he seems worn out and weak. He should not have tried to become the Democratic candidate in the first place. The loudmouth crude narcissist in the Oval Office must be terrified of Bernie Sanders and we can see some dirty tricks shift from Joe Biden any day now and aimed at the Vermont senator.

Well, impeachment certainly didn't hurt Trump. I do think it hurt Biden, but let's face it, Joe is a gaffe machine and seems to be sunsetting a bit.

Joe Biden blew it when he took a back seat for Hilary for the 2016 race. That was his opportunity, but he hung around waiting until the last minute in 2015 to announce if or if not he was going to run and in the end chose not to run.

This is just dumb posting, the legislation providing aid to Ukraine had requirements for anti-corruption efforts, multiple US Congressional leaders including GOP senators wrote to the Ukraine leadership expressing their concerns about Shokin's LACK of cooperation in the British case against Zlochevsky.

I wish folks who have anything to say on the matter had just a smidgen of knowledge about it.
