Reassigned I believe is what is happening. Doesn't he still have a job? President deserves people to implement his foreign policy not to try to subvert is because they don't agree. There job is to implement. Vindman openly said he disagreed with policy and the Presiden "defied establish policy" . The President sets policy. Guy needs to go to some other position.

Vinman did absolutely nothing to "subvert" the president's foreign policy.

He doesn't want to work there anymore anyway, I'm sure. Why stay with the garbage who attacked you when you devoted years of your life and your health in the service of this country? That no longer matters to the Republicans.

Besides, this is a good way for Trump to come across as an alpha male to his drooling fan base. They hate Vindman. They hate all military servicemen. Especially those who don't worship the same draft dodger that they do.

What's False

However, O'Brien did not state that Vindman had been "fired" or "removed" from the NSC, nor did he offer a timeline for when Vindman would be rotated back to his department.

Face it, they hate any person that testified to the fact that Trump committed a crime. The list is long but many of these people quit before they could be "reassigned" or "fired".

Russia specialist Fiona Hill is no longer in a government position and Ambassador William B. Taylor left the State Department on January 2, 2020.

Ambassador Maria L. Yovanovitch retired from State and accepted a professorship at Georgetown University.

Special adviser to Vice President Pence Jennifer Williams left that position in late January for a new job as deputy foreign policy adviser at US Central Command in Tampa.

Trump can't really harm those House witnesses. Mitt Romney is rich, very popular in Utah, and has the moral compass Trump lacks. He'll be fine.

Perhaps Romney will take this opportunity to become a Congressional independent.

Of course not; military officers can't quit arbitrarily. He may have requested the Army to reassign him.
