Well, of course. This trial was partisan-ridden, but so is almost every goddamned thing involved with the government. It's a ****ing madhouse.

Our President has never done anything wrong and it was proven during the trial. The lowly liberal/Demos have stooped a all time low with this impeachment shenanigan.

She was highly disrespectful by showing how ignorant and trashy by tearing up our President's speech. Such a sore loser these liberal/Demos...they never had anything on President Trump.

Thank you for saying that. This isnt something people should be gloating about or acting like its the end of democracy. It should serve as a wake up call to cool things down. Democrats need yo accept the verdict and republicsns need to show some forgiveness so that we can start to move toward eachother rather than further apart.

The best thing Trump could do right now is not gloat but put forth apositive message of thinhs both sides can agree to work toward. We should all agree to disagree and try to find peace with those we disagree with. Its gonna require effort fron both sides but aint we had enough of this bitter rancor yet. It leads to nothing good in the end for anyone.

Your poor, little binary brain cannot grasp that one does not need to be a leftist to know that Donald John Trump isn't fit for office. Is gun control not a political hot button issue with some Democrats wanting to ban or confiscate certain fire arms? That's not a threat, it's a prediction and this act by my former party has set the precedent for executive power. So, go on and gloat....while you can.

While Trump's legacy most now include him on the short list of only three Presidents ever impeached, Trump became the first POTUS in an Impeachment trial to ever have a Senator from the President's own party to vote guilty on an Article of Impeachment. The Republican Majority in the Senate assured an acquittal. Trump's acquittal reminds me of other infamous defendants whose acquittals resulted from the idiosyncrasies of their respective trial processes. Those defendants include O. Simpson, C. Anthony and G. Zimmerman.

Please join me in applauding Republican Senator Mitt Romney for voting to convict on the Abuse of Power article! I also want to give a shout out to the junior Senator from Alabama, Doug Jones, a member of the Democratic Party and up for reelection this cycle. I thank both men for displaying the utmost integrity and honor today with their courageous votes!:applaud
