And his decision is...

...he's still talking but it's sounding like he'll vote to remove.

Now he's sounding like Schiff.

and.....

he's a "remove".

It's always been about him. His tears are for no other(s) but himself.

Romney is done in the Republican party. He will have a hard time with reelection and mainstream Republicans will reject him from this point on. He says he will vote to remove the President and he is doing for his commitment to God.
Well Mitt, your party and the people who voted for Trump are watching and listening and they will let you know how they feel.
Poor Mitt, bitter loser.

Wow, he really put Republicans to shame. He's a real man of faith who takes his vows before God seriously, unlike all the fake Christians.

If you're a Christian you can't bear false testimony, you can't deny your vows before God.

Who can honestly say that Trump is not guilty? No one.

I've never admired a person more than I do Mitt Romney, right now. In a world where almost no one has integrity, he shines brightly.

Well, good for him for not taking the easy way out.

I'm fairly sure the guy's a freakin' alien, but clearly their species still clings to old fashioned notions like right and wrong.

Romney is just being vindictive with his personal grudge against Trump. I wouldnt be surprised if he swaps parties if he thinks he'd be in trouble with a primary challenger in Utah.

Integrity and Christianity have been removed from the Republican party in large part due to Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity. That's why we have Donald Trump.

People like Romney are correct.

Five bucks says that almost every person that voted for Donald Trump here also voted for Mitt Romney.

Well, he'll still be able to tell his kids "he did the right thing". If he believes that then more power to him. I'm a bit put off that he chose to put politics above justice but it's who he is and what he does. I don't blame Romney for this vote any more than I blame a snake for eating a mouse.

Mitt's Republican party no longer exists. It's a Trump party now where (R) stands for "Russian".

No one comes close to trump when it comes to vindictiveness.

My condolences to Senator Romney's political career with the GOP. You had a good run Mitt.

Also, according to Peter Baker on Twitter, Romney now becomes the first senator in American history to vote to remove a president of his own party in a Senate impeachment trial.

It looks like he'll be one of 53 senators that still have integrity. He will be able to sleep nights while I hope and pray all the others are stuck in insomnia.

Romney blew up all the president's defenses. He said what any non-partisan participant would say.

Romney chose Justice over Politics, at least according to several GOP Senators like Alexander, Murkowski, and Collins.

They’re just too spineless to remove a corrupt traitor who extorts and bribes.

You know, some may think he's a hero, but you are right, this was more about Mitt than anything else.

No, he's being honest and keeping the oath he swore to God when the proceedings began.

Did Trump withhold aid from ally for purely political reasons? Yes.
Is this a grievous abuse of power? Yes.

That's the truth. It's sad that you and your entire party are so lost in this personality cult that you can't see the basic truth anymore.

Those are wise words and one who chooses to adhere to them should understand that good and evil are determined with consideration to God, not Adam Schiff.

It’s always been about trump to trump, not America. We saw that as trump charged America millions for his Super Bowl party while disrespecting the Flag and National Anthem.

That's only because Nixon had the dignity to resign.

If you feel that you could go before God and tell him honestly that you believe Donald Trump then I have no problem with you. I guess God will forgive your gullibility

But you should search your conscience and determine if that's really what you believe.

Lots of people say they are Christian but when they are tested they choose the world, their careers, etc. Romney chose to damage his career and incur the wrath of millions for the truth. That's a real Christian.

For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?

Some of us remember that Nixon was forced out for a number of reasons, including a string of special election losses, tanking approvals, and fear of the GOP getting wiped out in the 1974 midterms.

Those so-called ‘Noble’ GOPs stayed with Nixon all the way until the Supreme Court ruled 8-0 on the tapes. Current AG Bill Barr disagreed with that ruling.

Think of Donald Trump’s personal qualities. The bullying, the greed, the showing off, the misogyny, the absurd third grade theatrics. You know, we have long referred to him as “The Donald.” He’s the only person in the entire country to whom we have added an article before his name, and it was not because he had attributes we admired.

Transcript of Mitt Romney’s Speech on Donald Trump - The New York Times

Romney has never been a Trump fan.

I guess I can't say zero republicans voted for impeachment anymore. I'll have to say "only one republican voted for impeachment."

Utah is a different state than the other 49.

The devout Mormons there have to decide to choose between a Mormon who has only been married once without any junk in the closet and a skirt chaser who has been married three times and had to payoff porn stars. Hmm, let me guess.

Wow, Bill Barr disagreed with that ruling and yet the Senate confirmed him for AG? Wow.
