New Quinnipiac poll: 75% of American voters want impeachment witnesses

No wonder Mitch can't whip up 51 votes for "no" on the Witness question. :)

The Quinnipiac poll found registered voters nationwide favoring impeachment trial witnesses by a 75 to 20 percent split, with just 5 percent undecided.

Broken down by party, even Republican respondents favored witnesses, with a plurality of 49 percent saying yes, and 42 percent saying no. Ninety-five percent of Democrats said yes. Seventy-five percent of independent voters said yes.

At least 60 percent of every demographic group broken out in the poll — men or women; white, black, or Hispanic voters; voters of each age bracket — said yes, there should be witnesses.

I'm with you, lets trot em all through this trial. But, if that were to happen (never going to happen, Moscow Mitch will see to that.) I guarantee you tRump would come out the loser. IF they really asked pertinent honest questions, the Biden's would be exonerated, Schiff would look dignified, Comey would show his patriotism, and Bolden would make tRump look so bad that he might actually get convicted of the Articles of Impeachment.

But to the point of the OP, 75% of AmeriCAN's are going to be disappointed and 100% of AmeriCAN's are going to be cheated out of a fair trial. But we knew that going in.

I don't give a flying **** about the Bidens. The only good Joe has done is make Trump do something dumb which, come to think of it, maybe puts him in my hall of fame. :)

How is Biden (father or son) relevant to the fact that Trump attempted to abuse his power by strong arming the leader of another country to announce an investigation into a potential political opponent for his own personal political benefit relevant?

If questioning the Biden’s under oath means Americans get to witness Bolton and Mulvaney also being questioned under oath, I’d be 100% up for it. :thumbs:

How are they relevant? You tell us. The dems brought them up over 400 times. They seem pretty relevant.

I have no doubt that it will be more than just John Bolton who is called. I also have no doubt that by the time it is all said and done, the outcome will not be affected. It is going to get awfully messy, though.

At this point it seems likely that Trump floated the idea of using the aid as some sort of leverage to get to the bottom of what was going on in Ukraine prior to him taking office but stopped just short of actually making it an "official" position. This sort of left the whole ordeal in a cloud of ambiguity. Just my opinion but given the evidence, it seems like the most plausible explanation.

You are asking why the focus of Trumps Ukraine corruption, the very people dems are citing as the reason for impeachment against Trump are relevant? The same people dems brought up 400 times. Good god man...how much more unhinged can the left get? If the bidens were engaged in corrupt activities then Trump is 100% exonerated. They are as relevant as it gets. Next up the whistleblower.

Okay, back to reality.

There is zero evidence, much less, even a whiff of evidence, that either Biden was involved in anything that violated Ukrainian or American law.

There is, however, a **** ton load of evidence that Trump pushed for an announcement of an investigation to be to be made specifically to damage/undermine a potential political opponent.

You mean other than the video of ole Joe bragging about using U.S. tax dollars to force a firing of an attorney looking into burisma, the company his son was getting kickbacks for. 0 evidence of Trump. Zeeero.

The Senate T-Party fools have all the votes they need to Subpoena whomever they want to. They should put up or SHUT UP. Call the witnesses you sniveling cowards.

Well i have no problem with the bidens testifying. Only thing is they have nothing to do with trump withholding money from the Ucraine. They will be raked over the coals like grandstanding senators do but nothing of substance will come from it. They have already been cleared of any wrongdoing in Ucraine

Now the wistleblower all he did was bring attention to trumps crimes. He has little to add either. Trump just wants to punish him.

Lets face it....dems don't want witnesses either. They are banking on the repubs not calling them so they can point the finger and cry unfair. Witnesses will go real bad for the Dems especially the Bidens.
