No, one is an individual case and the other is a societal decision. A better offer would be to give up gun rights in exchange for doing away with abortion. I still wouldn't take it because at its very root, denying abortion directly impacts only women, and is done primarily to keep women down, not to protect fetuses.

Why would I support an unconstitutional law preventing women from making decisions about things growing in their body that could not survive outside it even with all the best medical care?

Then support responsibility and logic. There is no logical reason for abortion if the couple is responsible. Go to the drug store and fine a dozen ways to keep from getting the woman pregnant. Or go to a doctor. He has a small medical procedure for both men and women that is fool proof. I find it kind of funny how the left claim they are the intelligent ones, yet support ignorance and irresponsibility when it comes to getting a woman pregnant, when there are so many ways to prevent it.

1. Obama spoke at PP about much more than abortion services. In fact, that wasn’t even the main focus of his speech. Obama focused on the many important, necessary services provided to women who otherwise would not receive care. Care that has saved many lives over years. He also focused on promoting the Affordable Care Act, encouraging attendees to spread the word within their families/communities in order to help provide more Americans with proper health care coverage.

2. Folks of all political beliefs, and no political beliefs, seek care from PP. PP doesn’t ask or care who their patients vote for.
